This is the software update for our 2018 HW3 Model 3. Very cool how quickly they pushed the same update out to our HW4 & HW3 cars. This quick update is a very promising step towards a FSD future with self driving cars everywhere!

For those wondering, and I wondered myself for a long time and couldn’t find the answer anywhere, ASS with those live view cameras on the app does not require premium connectivity.
Correct both cars don't have premium connectivity and I see the cameras.
Thanks for sharing this video, I have the exact same issue. “Slowing due to poor connectivity”. What do you think is the issue? LTE antenna? Phone LTE?
I think it's cell signal as the continued press is currently required.
What about the “come to me” option? Have you seen or tried that? It isn’t appearing for me.
I got 2024.27.25 (FSD 12.5.4) in my 2018 M3P with HW3 two days ago. I haven’t tried A.S.S. yet. I’ve always thought it’s a parlor trick and not very useful.
BUT the FSD driving performance of this release is a big improvement for me over FSD 12.3.6. I now enjoy using FSD again and half of my drives have been without disengagements or interventions. And the disengagements were not safety related. The jury is still out on wether HW3 cars will ever get the unsupervised Full Self Driving and robotaxi functionality we were promised. But now I’m more hopeful.
Agree v12.5.4 is a big improvement over v12.3.6
Can you turn off wi-fi and just use cell signal perhaps?
Yes, I did that and it seemed to work. I just think the auto connect to wifi interrupted the signal causing the car to not get the continued press from the app.
