The HUD works and above all you can follow the targets in the HMD when they are spotted by the radar... Something that cannot be done in the F-16, Gripen and Rafale.
3:20 next time, try to turn on the SAS damping mode on "automatic leveling" when going into tgp view, it doesnt keep the level perfectly, but it does keep it to the point that your nose will not pitch up/down, and just disable it once you dropped/need to go around
Autolevel does have 0 impact on pitch angle, in any plane. It only keeps the wings level, that's it. Any other effect you might have observed is placebo ^^
@@sakyuz6080 Correction: It does have an impact on pitch angle - in the sense that it makes you nosedive if you stay in it long enough. Just tested it again and remembered why I haven't used it since so long. It's unfortunately not an autopilot type of thing like it would be in DCS, it's coded like spaghetti, because it's from Gaijin. Tbf though, I never had this problem that Toast always had. It *may* be because I always use dampening where I can, and Toast doesn't.
@@Spicysauced Well for the job that i described, and that is to turn in on for few seconds and deploy the weaponary, you dont wanna be flying on it for longer then that bcs it makes no sense to do so. Damping also fixes the problem of nose pitch a little bit, it makes the aircraft more stable, but on most aircraft you are sacrificing a little bit of sensivity, and it limits how much you can pull, for eg. If you are flying a 2c aircraft, like the f16c, damping can be initially benefitial in performing 2c, but as soon as you find yourself in need of instantanious pull, or in a 1c with another f16c without sas mode, you are on losing position. And ofc if you are flying a strong 1c fighter, like the typhoon or rafale, you are putting yourself at disadventage. And idk about toast, but for me how aircraft fly when sas is off, is more "realistic". It also allows you to use trim on every aircraft, not like with sas on.
They really have to do something about these clouds. They can do it for RB perfectly fine, there are NEVER clouds like that over airfields, its only in sim.
@@chrisgardiner6771 ya I only play sim too i was really hoping it would be modeled when I was unlocking the missiles in rb I noticed it works I watched a TH-cam video the guy briefly mentioned it not sure if he played on pc or console but hopefully he plays on pc so it will cause more attention for the issue to be resolved we gotta start spamming their page
Hello ! Tell me please, How do you make your IAS, SPD, THR, ALT always following the movement of your VR, for me its always on top left of my VR and i need to turn my head to watch about it?? Maybe im missing something ?? Secondly, how do you film the footage with just one single image, for me when its rendering, the video is set with two images one from left other one frop right eyes ? Thank you! Very beautiful gameplay btw !
Hi bud, I use a head tracking device called TrackIR when recording videos so I don't have that problem. I do however stream in VR and I do get that problem ,I don't think you can change it. If you go into "Options > "Graphics" and scroll down to the bottom you will see a "VR" option called "VR Display Mirror Mode". All you have to do is choose left or right eye depending on which is your dominant eye. You can also toggle on "VR Streamer Mode" then I just capture the game in OBS. :)

Definitely a game changer.
In some planes if u turn on the cockpit lighting the hud turns red
Like the f14
Yup.

Also please can we not bring dcs into this? Its literally a cockpit sim that models some systems worse then war thunder, a "arcade sim'

true its annoying
No, i think it happens in rb too, but maybe they should tell you what the weather is on the server list just in case?
The Typhoon HUD on my PS5 has not been fixed. Radar lock box still not showing. Seems like the PS5 hasn't had the update for some reason 😫😫😫
Oh really.
@chrisgardiner6771 I have the same problem on my Xbox do you think they will fix it ?😢
@@PickledPear1017 I hope so, as I only play sim, and it makes a massive difference. I am hoping the update will come out on consoles today.

I don't think so bud,
Why dont you use VR? cheers!
there is an option to increase the HMD intesity
Yup
Is there an option to decrease it?
The Hud doesn't work in VR
Ah, ok cheers.
