My work received 2 new full cab versions yesterday, and I have a question about the AWD system.
In this video it mentioned that the system automatically engages on-demand AWD dependent on traction, but the dealership said it doesn't.
Is this an actual feature? and if so how does the AWD/2WD/Versatrac switch work in conjunction with it?

Hi! Yes, in short, if AWD mode is selected via the in-cab switch, all-wheel drive does automatically engage when you lose traction at the rear wheels.
Polaris’ True On-Demand All-Wheel Drive is an all-wheel drive system that is controlled by the in-cab switch. When selected, the vehicle remains in two-wheel drive until a loss of traction is detected, this then activates components within the front gearcase and when required, drive is sent to all four wheels. Once the traction at the rear wheels is regained, it reverts back to two-wheel drive.
When Versatrac Turf Mode is selected, it unlocks the rear differential to enable one-wheel drive This means when navigating a corner, in Turf Mode, the right rear wheel drives while the other spins freely.
