I love how realistic tsubomi’s rejection was. “I have still yet to see you that way” is the response mob got, so he calls her nearly everyday to get her to see him in the way he wants. Dude didn’t give up after all that 😤

Now that Mob has accepted his emotions and himself fully, he can use his full ???% strength completely, as that’s literally just HIM. HIS OWN power, unsuppressed subconsciously. He can now do it whenever he wants.

I loved mob psycho and its ending, like everyone has developed so much. Im happy mob was able to get his emotions back. I hope mob psycho has a spin-off or something

You talk about this show as if it were a generic fighting shonen.
The important thing was always the character development, not the fights or the resolution of these, that's why the ending is so beautiful and closes perfectly with Mob as character.
The main message is to accept yourself, grow up and be a better person, something you seem to be lacking lol

Bro that was one of the best endings I've seen in my entire life. It's rare to see a series come to an end in such a fulfilling way while addressing damn near everything so flawlessly. Mob is easily up there with the goats of anime.

One thing that I would like to note about the ending is everyone coming to celebrate Reigen's birthday. I remember watching last season when it was Reigen's arc and when it was including his birthday, that crap made me tear up, and seeing almost everyone we grew to know in mob psycho being there to celebrate it made me cry too
One of the important parts about the party scene is how Reigen almost bursted into tears, because as the series started, he had his bday and all he really got was being alone and getting an email about his bday.
Where at the end Reigens also surrounded by new friends showing that after meeting Mob, Reigen became a new person as well. I thought that part also added on to the touching moment
just remembering how Reigen never really got the opportunity celebrate his own birthday and the fact that he now has people around him to do so just makes the ending a lot sadder and a lot more heart warming
I will never forget the laughs and tears this anime has brought me. Mob's laugh at the end had me bawling my eyes out but it was both immense happiness and sadness that overwhelmed me. Farewell to a beautiful chapter of my life, farewell mob 💙

Ik Mov is an action anime, but it breaks the rules of one. The final battle wasn't a final battle with action. It was a final battle with himself and accepting himself fully. His 100 meter is symbolic of him being whole. While action would've been nice, it was never the main purpose of the story. So I think that there was no big final battle was an amazing choice

Mob accepting his shadow self was very Jungian. It was reigen telling mob his true persona that snapped mob out of it. Both achieving Individuation. Not only mob.
Jung mention on comment section was unexpected but I agree that this fits his theories quite well
this is such an interesting point i hadn’t considered. i saw it as a metaphor for learning to accept your autism and slowly unmasking from there :) both to do with repression but in diff ways

He actually meant to prank Reigen. In the manga the cake is literally thrown in Reigen's face, which is hilarious and I was really hoping to see it lol
This anime deserves every praise it gets studio bones put their heart and soul into this one and it shows.
The whole story was so peak, it especially Mobs growth and coming to terms and accepting himself really resonated with me over the past few years as Ive grown up, also inspires me to be a better person in the future. ONE fr saw god when writing this masterpiece up

hearing the season one opening playing to reigen was a lightbulb moment. because i suddenly realized a culmination, the openings lyrics dont apply to mob, they apply to everyone
And the awesome thing is that the season 1 opening was Reigen talking to mob, but as the show emphasizes, anyone can be like mob.

I never read the manga so the ending shocked me. The whole time I was thinking that this was the setup for the last big villain. Amazing anime but I just wish I was more mentally prepared for it to end

Such a feel good anime with an unexpectedly high emotional charge. I really enjoyed this show and all the characters. I'm gonna miss it, but I'm trying to be happy it happened and not sad that it's over. Mob Psycho forever!!

1:03 in the manga you can see an omake, which shows how Reigen sees mob's progression and he thinks he cant get behind him, so he starts working out, would've been nice if they added it to an episode

I love the fact that so many people are making videos of how much they love this anime. MP100 is definitely the best series and example of story telling I've ever seen.
About the question mark form, I don't really think it makes sense to show it more. As a plot move, considering Shigeo as the most powerful being in the universe, just showing how strong he is doesn't make sense. ???% appears when Mob is so damaged mentally/physically that he can't go on. Do you want him to suffer a bit? Mogami arc. In my opinion ???% got just enough screen time. It's still mistiryous and intimidating, the way it should be. Showing ???%'s 100% means that he would just, for example, shatter the time itself or smth like that and then put it back. And what? It's, like, OK (that scene from Saitama vs Boros fight).
MP100's ending in anime is perfect, because it's clear, that Mob and Shigeo became one. In comics I didn't really get what happened 0_0, like, nether of them openly accepted each other. At least I feel like that. Maybe I should re-read that part.
Anyway, thanks for video. Shige will forever stay in our hearts, and for now we will just hope, that One will show his writing genius in One Punch Man.

(Also, making Shigeo lose to someone is also a poor decision, since the main idea of the anime is that even tho you can be good at something from birth you should improve yourself non-stop. Or that the power doesn't mean much, the emotions does. Or anything else, we just don't need this part with ???% going helpless)

I am happy that Mob Psycho 100 came into my Life and a little teary rn.

The author, One, his writing style focuses on story telling and humor over cool fights. He did it last season when we thought we were going to get a cool fight between the blind guy and Mob only for Reigen to punch him. Hell, he did an entire series about it (One Punch Man) where the main character can practically end any fight in one punch, but the story is about how he handles that and changing from wanting a fan club to realizing he doesn't actually care about that or rankings and growing to have friends as a character. (in the web comic by One, the manga redrawn by Miata and anime that follows it are changed drastically to be more fighting centered than story centered)
One is one of the best writers ever in my opinion for being able to write master piece Shonens that are always deep on many levels without actually focusing on fights that much.
I like to imagine it was mob who stopped the cake since he was laughing so much about it. And that also shows that he overcame his insecurity of using his powers for non-significant reasons which if it's the case, is amazing.

MP100’s ending was perfect, though it did suffer from a few flaws.

My ONLY small complaint - I wish Reigen told Mob how much he cares for him and he’s literally like his family, I know it’s obvious but it would had be great to hear him say it to Mob 😢
Mob helped me realize I was autistic bc I related so hard to Mob. I always bottled up my emotions and Mob helped me un-bottle my emotions slowly
This anime was my favorite it had such a fun story great moments and awesome animation and a lot of us face problems mob did
This was truly the best ending of any anime i ever saw. I watched a lot of ending and i can say that this anime will have a place in my heart forever

I personally woul have loved if mob ended with tsubomi, because even with the "having powers doesnt make you special" with everything mob has work to improve himself sometimes life gives you a reward for your efforts

Finished reading mob psycho after season 2 (a few years ago) havent watched all of season 3 yet but I'm like two episodes in and it hurts knowing that there isnt much left and the series will be fully over
Mob Psycho 100 is one of the greatest pieces of story ever written, I have nothing but love and respect for the writer ONE for creating such an inspirational, motivational and heart touching story. I wish more people would look past the art style and experience mob psycho, it's something you'd call life changing. It is a story that can alter the way you view life and want to live your life, it is a story that can have an everlasting impact on you and change your life for the better no matter how cliche that may sound. A masterpiece.
I'm so sad that this series has come to an end. It was beautiful, fun, and a learning experience in some aspects.

The webcomic made the question mark form a LOT scarier. The anime cut out some scenes and gave him a little more life but lost some stuff in it.
The way mob ended is so perfect and wholesome but im still sad its over.
I don't think bringing Dimple back was the right choice
Like yeah, it was awesome to see he was still alive and came in to "sort of" Help save the day
But it also soured out his death's emotional impact
I thought the show was getting a little more serious since season 2
And when I saw season 3's opening, I was ready for it to mature even more
So when Dimple died, it took me a moment to realize just how sad it actually felt
But then he came back and all of that disappeared
I don't think it's a bad choice and I still like the ending, I just don't think bringing him back was the best choice

Mob, in my eyes, is so damn near perfect when it comes to a story. Tho is excels in nothing in particular, (as the phrase goes, a jack of all trades is a master of none), it is still amazing and well rounded. ONE is one of my favourite authors, out of nostalgia and brilliant character writing

Maybe I misunderstood it, but in the end, he wasn't using his powers anymore. When the cake fell, he didn't stop it with his telekinesis. He's just living normally now, not being afraid of his powers or the count to 100%

The only problem I have with the ending is that there was no mention of Mob suffering consequences after the ??? incident. Sure, he didnt do it voluntarily, but he still destroyed 3/4 of the city and if government didnt interfere, then that makes no freaking sense. He nearly killed people and did destroy their homes, so Id like to see the aftermath of ??? incident instead of skipping half a year. I hope we get some info about that, but, overall, I loved this anime! Definetly will rewatch season 3 soon, or maybe wait a few months and rewatch the whole show but in English dub! Ever since starting my journey in September, Ive rewatched this anime 2 times, which totals 3 times of watching s1&2 and seeing s3 once.
Same here. I loved the ending, but the damaged caused after the ??? incident was pretty devastating. I just assumed since he can use 100% of his power consciously now, he repaired everything just like how he repaired the school after his fight with Teruki. But still, I would imagine Mob would feel tremendous guilt after all that damage and disturbing people's lives.
After Mob came back when Tsubomi rejected him, Reigen mentions repairing the city's wreckage with the help of other espers (Ritsu, Teruki, Serizawa, etc) and I think he didn't accidentally kill anyone, I guess.
It’s likely Mob and other espers quickly fixed the damage, just like when 100% Sadness Mob fixed Teruki’s school.
Didn't that one guy pull everyone out from the debris or was it in just that little area
we all gonna miss mob damn what a cool show well we still have OPM hope one doesn't kill this one too considering that OPM can go for a long time .

I couldn't have asked for a better ending to this amazing show. Just thinking about this episode makes me so happy because It was so good. But on the other hand it's the final episode of mob which makes me sad. I'll miss this show but I'm glad we got such a great ending.

I feel like ?Mob not fighting satisfies the powerscaler community. Since if ?Mob exerted himself at all, he'd no longer be Saitama level powerful. Since Mob Psycho is not about all that, it doesn't really matter.
Tbh when Reigen was exposed on tv for not having powers i thought from that moment on Mob knew the truth so i was confused as to what was the purpose of Reigen's confession if Mob already knew.
It's bc he never thought Reigen would honestly just tell him he doesn't have powers. It was a big step for Reigen and out of his character which is why Mob was surprised.
