Thank you for just getting to the point and explaining things very clearly. No distractions, or chattering on and on. I'm trying to get back into cross stitching again and needed a boost to get more motivated.
Very useful thank you! My 7 and 8 year old have both picked up a small cross stitch project to do as part of our Christmas craft ideas so we will see how we get on!
It looks messy because he is showing the different combinations of quarter stitches you could use. They are used whenever a full stitch is too large/for smaller details.
Wrong on two counts. You can thread your needle so that there are no tails. And use a Qframe on your fabric and you won’t have creases that are hard to iron out.

That stitch you did with the brown floss. Why does it look messy like that? What kind of stitch is that even used for? Genuinely curious.

How do I keep my stitches from showing the fabric? I always see gaps between the croses
Hi there! You can create a thicker stitch by using more threads on the needle! This should fill n your gaps. For a 14 count aida, try 2 or 3 :)
