John Bonham started playing at 5 I believe ...Angus Young 14 when he and Malcolm started AC ⚡ DC. The Beatles started in high school too. Stevie Wright 15 the Easybeats . I think George Young was about 16 when he and Stevie started the Easybeats. And Steve Priest of Sweet was 11 when he built his own bass guitar. These are just a few I can recall. So rock bands have nearly always been young when they started. I am way down the Maneskin rabbit hole and Love them and their music heaps. The future...💜💜🤎💜⚡⚡⚡⚡🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘🌠

They actually can do multiple genres. Mostly with a rock flavor. Their Italian rock ballads are wonderful, and poetic. Try For Your Love for a sexy rocker. Caroline for a masterpiece of rock ballad and poetry. In Nome Del Padre, for a hard rock song. The more pop rock Beggin and I Wanna be Your Slave( killer video) are Top 40 material. Torna A Casa (video)for sheer beauty. I’m obsessed, and grew up with Queen, AC/DC, GNR and the like. These guys may just be that good. I’d be happy to follow you down the rabbit hole.

Thank you for your reaction, I have to say you're one of the few reactors who immediately understood the meaning of the song and correctly. The title of the song means "Shut up and behave". Maneskin are 22,21,21,20 years old and are together since 2015, they started as buskers, they won a local contest and in 2017 competed in the Italian XFactor ending up 2nd. They have published 1 EP and 2 albums, the latest, real rock, came out last March "Teatro d'ira vol. 1", 8 tracks all different and one better than the other. They have songs both in English and Italian, the former are fun and sensual, the latter are poetic and personal. If you watch their songs in Italian I suggest you choose the videos with english subtitles because the Italian lyrics are worth the effort. They have played at Global Citizen in Paris 5 songs, all on YT so you can appreciate them live, my fav of the event a cover of Billie Eilish song "Bury a friend" in pure Maneskin style, real rock-n-roll, and even better than the original! Enjoy!
This is my second reaction to them, and I definitely love their stuff, but they really make me work for it, with the blocking. And yeah, afterwards I had to look up the translation just so I didn't look stupid when this went live lol. @@DanFromHali May I say, I used to be sort of outraged that native-English reactors (in large numbers) don't seem to even care what the lyrics might be about. If I have to be honest, the first reason I got interested in this young band, after years of pushing by my brother, was after they won the Eurovision. I felt a sense of pride that their fresh wind might bring some interest for our language. Our beautiful language that is not much use nowadays in the world. I mean, I know, learning a language takes a lot and can be very frustrating... but I've seen hordes of people learning Korean for K-pop, so I thought this would go in a similar way; and to see people actually getting interested, that just melts my heart. Well, now I'm well beyond caring for whether they sing in Italian or English, I've grown so fond of them. I think they're helping me rediscover this new generation. The way these kids trudge on in spite of so much spite (they get it in spades), in this age of social media where people will just spit all their venom on you for no reason, and there's almost no filter to it, these four young people know exactly where they are, what's going on and how to face it. They're great performers, in love with music, with a huge self-awareness and (guess what?), incredibly well-adjusted. I see lots of people from my generation scoffing at them 'cause "rock is dead", "who do these kids think they are?", "so commercial" and on and on. And I think something went wrong back when we were young, we grew attached to a myth of rock=pain and tragedy, and now we've withered with that toxic idea. But young people are still finding their way nonetheless, and the idols they follow now are not necessarily self-destructive and aggressive. I'm very relieved. So, well, that's just to say, thank you for your reaction.
Yes, definitely worth listening to all the Maneskin songs (1 ep, 2 albums and a single just out). Hard to find a bad song. I have not succeeded. The best I could do was find two that I don't like very much. And many of their songs are in English.

Some years you just KNOW who would win. Last time I knew was when Portugal won and this time I thought it'd be between Italy or Finland. This was amazing.
