As someone who hasn't gotten to shoot a much in the past few years I've fallen in love with my tubes, long shelf life and fairly consistent! That torque just got bumped up on my to get list, so loving your vids brother!!!
This video came along just as I was busy going through the same experiment of deciding which fork is best for my tubes. I have the Torque, Axiom Occularis and a traditional Chinese ring shooter that I have been testing. Thank you for the info. Good video and funny as always😂
@@wayout6092 I predominantly shoot flats on mine as well. But if you decide you want to try some tubes, it’s a superb slingshot to do it on! Thanks for the comment! Appreciate you!
Nice video information my tater buddy and I'm gonna buy the Torx so I can use the 4 sets of tube bands that came with a slingshot that don't hold them good at all and there double tube bands, thanks brother.
While being only around 5000 balls into speedshooting i can confrim the self aligning tubes. Tubes are by faster than flat band when speedshooting at least on my level. Im about to make my first coctail tubes. Have u tried those? They make the ball fly faster.
@@persmestari I cannot agree more about speed, shooting and tubes! As far as cocktail tubes, I have not tried those. I’d love to get some feedback about them!
Thanks for the quick response. I like the cuffing idea. I don't have a torque. But, I am thinking of cutting a slot in one of my slingshots to accept the looped bands. And using a round file to create the groove. Just bought a slant roller, and fits my hand great. Apex here.
5:24 With all due respect, a biblical scholar you are not. David vanquished Goliath with a shepherd’s sling. Slingshots would not be possible until 1849 with the invention of vulcanized rubber, long before David’s time. Ultimately, it was David’s faith that vanquished Goliath. The shepherd’s sling was a metaphor for his faith, which enabled him to vanquish the Philistine’s champion, so heavily armed that he needed a spear carrier to assist him w/ carrying his weapons.

How do you determine the size tubing to use for the cuffing? What area in NC do you live? I am near Raleigh.
@@jeffconley6366 I live just outside Raleigh in Louisburg. As far as the cuffing, I usually go about two sizes up.
