It pains me to see people who had to flee to India during partition leaving behind their havelis , businesses and most importantly ,their sweet memories , their childhood imprints now pining to catch a glimpse of their long lost homes in the evening of their lives or their parents' lives so as to get some solace .I can imagine your pain , agony of leaving behind your homes and sadly , dil Ka tukda as well . Of course it also applies to people who had to cross the border from this side to the other . You may have prospered in life and built houses but then , you will always pine for that old house which you left behind .May God give you all strength .
My Grandparents were from Miranshah in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Bannu District, I have heard from them that there was a Bhatia Bazar and Bhatia Mohalla in Bannu as well. And Dushhera of Bannu was famous and they used to go to the city from their village for Dushhera celebrations.
We stay in Delhi now but my Grand Dada was Rai Sahab Kanwar Bhan and he was very famous person . If you can find out our haweli then it would be great. Thanks a lot
