- he was 16 year old in partition days, His father was a farmer, now these people have a territory near Delhi, Punjab Bohad, he lives,
Dera Ismail khan was my birthplace and so now a part of my life history. I was about 6 years old at the time of partition n therefore my memory is limited to only our ancestral house and the Gali and the stories told by my parents n grand parents, full of brotherhood, affection, loyalty etc among the team. The only inherited property I have today is the mother tounge-Derewali and the pleasant memories which also may end with our generation. My best wishes for all Derewals wherever they are and lots of thanks to people for the thought n effort behind this vedio

My father who, if alive today, would have been 98 years old, once told that originally our ancestors were from Dera Ismail Khan and that his ancestors of seventh degree had migrated to Nurpur Thal.

Really this discussion made me shed tears. This buzurg, the love he still has for his native village, has made the love for him in our hearts in return. We are from Tank Distt. some 60 km away from DIKhan.We are well known to Paharhpur,Dhakki,Kot Jai etc. We wish you would visit to Pakistan. This is for beyond Muslim-Hindo difference. I think the speration was made but relationship of hearts could not be seperated.
