What I think really separates the two is how it was done. The first time around the kid just casually walked up on stage with the From Software devs like he belonged. They thought he was with the Game Awards people and the Game Awards people thought he was with Fromsoft. Then he stood up there on stage as if he belonged and waited for them to finish their speech. Matan is a child who was clever. I'd honestly say this is a win for the friend who got blurred out. He gets plausible deniability to anyone saying that he was there for that absolute trainwreck of clout chasing.
Charlie makes a really serious and big point. Stuff like this has been happening at award shows and similar live shows for years and years, and security has rarely improved since. There have been incidents (some even on camera) where speakers at live events have been assaulted (or worse) in front of these huge crowds, because these lunatics have no care. It's only at huge name shows and concerts were security is actually adequate due to how rambunctious and rowdy it gets. These events are more formal/casual, so security isn't taken as seriously for some reason. It's only a matter of time, like Charlie said, before an absolute psychopath just walks up and does something *way worse* and *way more tragic and traumatic* than just "Jee tee ayy seeks, Jee tee ayy seeks, beel cleenton wanz Jee tee ayy seeks". The last thing I want to see is a headline where Jeff Keighley is assaulted, or worse, live on an award show, in front of hundreds and thousands of fans, maybe even in front of some kids too. This can't be allowed to happen a 3rd time, especially with how dangerous people in the world are today and how high violent crimes have gotten. The risk is just too great for something terrible to happen to Jeff.
Genuine advice here. I used to struggle hard with falling asleep during covid because I rarely left my room. My brain started associating my bed with work/studying and not with sleep. If you only use your bed and room for sleeping you’ll have a much easier time falling asleep. Also just having a consistent sleep schedule helps too
Honestly, calling them grown men is giving them too much credit if they're up to shenanigans like this lol. I can't believe stuff like this actually happens
It makes it seem like they don't even try to prevent things like this. Hopefully next year we have like 10 people with Bill Clinton shirts climb up stage and start dancing Thriller or something. That would make a memorable event.
I can't help but feel the only reason Jeff didn't rightfully absolutely roast these two peanuts is because at the moment of filming, he was representing an organization and didn't want to draw any flak or potentially get them sued or something. And I gotta say, day by day the more peanuts I see getting away with this garbage, the more I wanna see someone in his position roast them. Please. I would pay to watch it.
I think the next time Geoff presents they should just have like 10 secret service members around the stage and have it highlighted as a game advertisment for Hitman 4 or something.
I think its time that these events have their security seriously upscaled. The fact that this has happened during 2 major gaming events in the same year is ridiculous.

It took balls and confidence. Contrast this with these chucklefucks who just barged in on stage and made an ass out of themselves.
Matar did a bad thing in trolling in that way, but at the very least he did it in the most respectful way possible
Yeah, he was more classy in doing the prank, people have more respect to him
@@hafirenggayuda "its okay if the criminal is classy"

@@mop-kun2381 nope, still troll/prankster. Matar at least "perform" when the others already finish the speeches, while these guy directly disturb the ongoing speech

Matan is a child who was clever. He didn’t interrupt the show, he didn’t steal the attention since he waited before saying one sentence into the mic, and he exposed an issue with stage access being an honor system. As time goes on what he did will probably be seen more and more as a funny stunt. These guys trying to copycat for clout are just plain obnoxious.
Charlie: I dont like talking about drama.
Also Charlie: Lets talk about this drama.
Geoff Keighly handled it like a pro

They don’t need to “up security”. Simply equip Geoff with a stun gun and a cattle prod and let Darwin take the wheel.
The risk is just too great for something terrible to happen to Jeff.
which is it ? Jeff or Geoff ?
I don't have any input, just want to say that I agree.
@@CouscousEnjoyer same nonetheless
I agree whole heartedly.
I really thought the 2nd guy is a security guard who ran up to block the 1st guy from the cameras and audience 😭 bro did not think this through
Genuine advice here. I used to struggle hard with falling asleep during covid because I rarely left my room. My brain started associating my bed with work/studying and not with sleep. If you only use your bed and room for sleeping you’ll have a much easier time falling asleep. Also just having a consistent sleep schedule helps too

It's funny how the kid did it in a lot more mature way than two grown men.
He was wearing glasses to show the passage of time.
I started crying when I saw Charlie in glasses, my tears boil every time.
The bill clinton one was great that dude stood back patiently and waited till they were done then did his thing, thats why he blew up a bit
I think its time that these events have their security seriously upscaled. The fact that this has happened during 2 major gaming events in the same year is ridiculous.
Seeing as how lax security is, they will be even more daring or worse case scenario, someone gets hurt.
Geoff : "Well that was a big nothing"
Dude just can’t not look like an absolute chiseled god of a human, with the glasses, without them, still just a gorgeous human being
Geoff works so hard and cares so much about these events for some losers to do shit like this.
I actually appreciate how so much of the generally toxic gaming community has genuine respect for Geoff. Makes me feel like I can still have hope that decent people exist lol
