  • Reading may not be the sexiest skill to improve your Portuguese, yet it can do wonders for your grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure and so much more.
Join me in this video where I share why reading in Portuguese is good for you; how to read, meaning what strategies you can use to read, and finally, what to read.
Don’t expect me to recommend a Nobel Prize winner (yes, we have one). Sometimes reading a receipt can be quite insightful!
If you have been learning European Portuguese for a while, or even just starting out, I’d love to hear about what you’re reading and if the tips I mention are things you’ve tried before.
Stay till the end to hear in Portuguese, with Portuguese and English subtitles, how I improved my Dutch by starting to read after a month and a half into the language.

What have you been reading in Portuguese lately? Street signs, food labels, receipts, books?

Listas de ingredientes nos produtos, por que tudo tem óleo de girassol? Sério, leite de amêndoa?

@@Linehan23 a sério? Vês leite de amêndoa nos rótulos?!! Nunca reparei. E sim, usa-se muito óleo de girassol. And thus you learn that "sunflowerseed oil" is said 'backwards' in Portuguese 😉

Niet meer, Irene. Ik heb Nederlands geleerd in 2011-2013 ongeveer. Maar ik hoor het elke dag. 😀

Olá David, I can't find enough info to say if the versions you got are EUPT, but the titles indicate they are. In Brazil they'd say " Minha mãe..." and "Adoro falar a verdade"
