@@Stainphotography I should have said only joking about the acting! I only watch to see the pictures and of course the places you visit and yes the lakes are stunning no matter when you visit even when its raining! Take care...
My Hubby was also there the same morning, he saw you & said good morning! He was with a young girl on a workshop for her 21st birthday. We live 5 minutes down the road, the boats & trees make for some great shots in all lighting conditions!

Great bit of video am hoping to get over there this year hopefully never been there so even if I dont get to Climb Snowden still plenty to see and photograph .All the pics are belters my Fave is the Heron .

Nice one mate, good watch, love the heron and the boat ones around the 8 minute mark. Good find with those dead trees, loving the black and white first one. The woodland looks fab too, love the green mossy trees, somewhere I definitely need to check out.

Went there at the weekend could not see the boats near the edge I see some in the distance off to the left. My workshop client could not walk that far. Going back in a couple weeks I think.

You can park and the railway station at rhyd ddu or go through the village, turn left and there’s a pull in half way up the hill, that’s where I parked 👍

Enjoyable video this Steve, and what's not to like about wales! :) - Only thing I will say which I dont think is in your control but i had a total of 8 adverts to skip through whilst watching a 30min video one nearly every 4 mins. :(

Cracking days shooting at the lake Steve. I have never ventured around it even though I have parked there quite a few times. Nearby Llyn Dywarchen is ny normal "go to" location. I think the boat shots in the beginning of your shoot were my faves, plus of course that fab heron shot. There is an old quarry/mine up over the lake and through the forest that looks down into the next valley (Cwm Pennant) that I want to explore at some point so I might kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak - thanks for giving me a reminder of this place. I have walked up the Rhyd Ddu path and its a cracker - quieter than some of the other well known routes but has splendid views. Have to say 29 mins was a bit of a long watch for me but I just about managed it..lol - think you have been bothering with a certain vlogger too long...lol atb Al
Tbh I don’t like long blogs myself but it was hard to stop lol. It is one of them places that you can walk straight past. I’m hopeful up there next weekend meeting Dave Griff and some photographers from his Facebook book group so looking forward to that.
