The rocks are good for many things… keeping humidity up, stopping fungus gnats somewhat, and keeping soil from splashing up onto the leaves (which is more important than we realize). You can also sprinkle a smaller pebble or gravel, or even sand, over & around the river rocks and that also looks good 😊

Manjulas are my favorite too!!! I just want to come plant shop at your house okay? okay! That snow queen is amazing. And I have the same exact dying variegated lipstick plant from Lowe's hanging in my house... drying out (for 2.5 weeks now). 50% of it has died, but there is still hope.... I love how grateful you are for your plants 🥰 I'm trying to practice gratitude, and this was a great reminder.
I’m worried the lipstick isn’t gonna make it 😂 I’m thinking about doing a video on that plant since it’s so crazy to hold on to the moisture for such a long time! Same here about 2to3 weeks no water, still wet…how, right!!?? What are they putting in the soil to keep those from drying out? I’m saying! 😂😂😂

@@plantluxxe I did change out the soil in one of the plants to be my fast draining soil, and the plant still does not look great.. Oh well at least I got them on clearance! I'll wait until all the damages are done and see what is salvageable and put them in one pot I'm hoping.. They each have a few vines that have maintained some turgidness to the leaves in.

I wish I had better lighting for her. She fell over the other day because she’s top heavy… I had to tie her to the slats behind her haha. I need to figure out a plan for more support
