You need to release the crown tube, then remove the crown, after that the module will pop right off. There is a release tab along the crown tube, you need to press that down to release the crown.
The circular metal plate which you removed after opening this fantastic example is for magnetism protection.

Just got one of these, replaced the battery, the backlight works but the movement doesn't. Gutted doesn't come close!
Any idea is there any more replacement strap for this model? Or any 3rd party strap available?
DW-9052 type of g-shock strap could fit in nicely.
