Not sure I understand the ‘riding position’ comments… the position is really not that extreme… fairly comfortable, I have done 400 mile rides without any issue
Gorgeous bike! I just purchase a slightly use 2020. I put on a NRC eliminator (tucked version). The rear of the bike looks totally different. It made me realize the front of the bike needs so attention....lol. This is my second cafe racer build. I just finished and sold a customized Royal Enfield GT650 and now can't wait to do the mods on this one. I'm looking at the Cone Engineering Shortys. How loud are they? Do you have a video with a sound clip?
Thank you. I don’t have a sound clip but I can record one. With the stock cat they’re not loud at all. Just perfect for me. No need for ear plugs on longer rides.
Great review and mice mods! Did you have any power-related issues after installing the Auxito H4 lamp? I like the brighter LED look, however Amazon says it does not fit the 2023 (or upcoming 2024) Triumph Thruxton RS.
i like that thruxton, a as d it looks good as is. wouldn’t have installed the tidy kits because i like stock but it does look good. you might get rid of your other bike i would guess. that’s a sharp looking bike. how much was it ?
Hi Vincent, great info. I was told by NRC directly that there tail tidy doesn’t fit on 2022-2023 yr model so I didn’t get it. I found one from Analog Motorcycle but they are way too expensive. Did you made any mod to get it fit??
Yes, that's correct. The two holes toward the front didn't line up. You'll need to drill 2 new holes a few mm's from the original hole. Very easy if you have the metal drill bit.
Thanks Vincent. Oh one more thing, the H4 LED bulb, was it easy to install it? Do I have to unscrew both side that hold the headlight then open the back to remove the OEM bulb and was it easy to do? Thanks in advance!
@@VG-of7ky It was easy. Unbolt the 2 screws holding the headlight housing to the bucket. Unplug the harness and the remove the rubber cover. Then unhook the clip that hold the bulb to the light then replace it. Just be careful when you put the screw back. Don't over torque it. I cracked both sides of the headlight bucket. I thought the bucket is aluminum, but it's hard plastic.
