Im sold with the “rbrt tech”, but I don’t have access to a Mac dealer. After calling Mac, I was disappointed finding out that these tools were made in Taiwan. If I’m paying tool truck price, I want them to be made in USA.
JUST ORDER THIS SET from my local MAC Tool dealer via my mechanic friend. Clay, good idea on having DAN his own channel since my goal is to invest in all RBRT sets MAC Tools make. This is the best invention. Going to sell all my old sets, see no need to grab the old school stuff since RBRT came along. Great video yall.
That's a nice set to say the least! Captain D's now that goes way back for me. I was living in Nashville then and I've been in N.VA since 1982. Long John Silvers was another Fish and chicken joint they both had Malted vinegar siting on the table for your dining experience.

Hey Clay, I currently do maintenance and minor repair (Chassis/Brakes/Hydraulics) on truck mounted concrete pumps. I graduated high school a year ago but have been working for a couple years now. I never went to college. My question is should I go to school or should I just keep gaining experience and grow my toolbox? Been with this company for 6 months and am supporting myself and my girlfriend here in San Antonio, TX.
Education while not necessary can lead to more career opportunities and higher pay. In the ever changing electronics part of the industry its a good Idea to get an education in that. Todays mechanic needs to understand diagnostics fully. If you have the means get the education.
I got the ratcheting screwdriver but set and love it, even save a screw that was too stripped for a coworkers hex bit. That set is pretty sweet looking. Is there a hex one as well? I plan on grabbing the hex and torx sets, though I tend to run into hex more. Haven’t needed an extractor yet, but I’d like to get those as well.
I'd love to see these tools out in the wild, so I love it if Mac would put these out and let people play with them. They do look like great tools, but I'd like to see them in action a little bit more, with reviews that appear independent. Of course, the sales demos are interesting, just not quite as good in my opinion.
@@nosliwttam77 that does work very well, when the fastener isn't full of corrosion that's pacted in there tighter then a drum. Sometimes gotta bust out the air hammer to get er out
Worked for me for 2 years and I was using Stanley bit I bought at Walmart in 1996. Same parent company so maybe they make better bits than others. About 10 light taps with a hammer before removal and they all came right out except for a few that were already rounded. I think these bits would be nice to have for those.

Isn't Mac part of the company that owns Stanley and Proto and some other ones? If so wouldn't it be cheaper to wait until they offer these rbrt line in their other brands for a lot cheaper?
You are right. Mac is owned by Stanley Black and Decker but they may not offer them for years down the road because they are selling so well under the Mac name

I might consider the RBRT line if they price them within reason. Stupidity expensive for imported tools. Tool trucks have become unreasonable with pricing of tools. I'm sure these work well but not for what they are asking for them.

It's a shame you have good reputable tool truck guys that come by and make sure you're fully serviced each week whether or not you owe a payment seems like I'm lucky to see mine once a month what do I have to do spend $10,000 to get them to come by each week

i got the long set and stubby set in mac flyer few months back best torx sockets ive ever used i dont even go to my snap on or hazet sets anymore.

Rounded Bolt Removal Tool is what RBRT stands for. Mac Tools is the brand. Now they have come out under the OEM brand as Grip Edge
