    Wow, thankyou so much for posting this. You have inspired me so much, I have have boxes of blocks (ufo’s) many vintage (like me).
    I’m now going to pull them out and do projects like this. I like the look of modern quilts but haven’t wanted to waste my many traditional blocks plus It will be a fun way to practice my free-motion quilting.

    Excellent. Thanks so much. The quilting looks great. Love the idea of appliquéing orphan blocks onto a background and quilting.

    Doesn’t the chalk come off when you load the quilt?

      Yes it can. You can spray with best press to hold it place better. However, if loading on a longarm, we do suggest to put the powder on after loading.

    Dawn dish soap doesn’t cause a problem? Most require HE soap
