Added tip for the next seat, spray the adhesive to both the bucket and the foam and let it tack up for 15-20 seconds. It will make for far better adhesion. If you have a heat gun, use it at the edge to soften the material to help remove any ridging you get. Like the ridging you got towards the front of the seat. Good work and look forward to the build, hope it helps you and anyone doing a seat in the future.
edgeofvamp I was going to say the same thing. If using 3M spray (I think 8080) adhesive I let it sit 5-10 and then put the pieces together... instant bond!
Then your ass gonna be flatter than spongebob ass, oh and also love your videos , you are probably one of the kindest youtubers ever , when i saw that hotdog video i was like god damn give that man a medal ( not even kidding) love you brah #fullhomo
yeah, you like sitting on wood… and +FlubahDub - we stand with them, it's a tragedy what happened, but that's no reason to avoid mentioning something. They should be in our thoughts, just with Fry it's never appropriate ;)
Been looking for a series like this for a while man, just having a good time building sick bikes! I've been tossing up building a supermoto as my commuter too so it gives me some inspiration. Keen to tune in for future episodes bro, keep up the good work.
This is great, yesterday i brought a Yamaha xvs125 (Cruiser) reason being is that i just want a confertable ride for 2 years before i got a bigger bike. originaly i was going to get a yamaha yzf 125 but they are a bit to much for me, i got my bike for about £1900, i can not wait to ride it man in august when i come 17, i told my dad i would only buy one of those bikes you got if it was a 250 or 450 since i thought the 125's didn't have enough power, but when i get older i might just get one, the build series is great man, brilliant quality, and very good audio, can not wait for the next episode :D
I haz garage envy..... Damn, that's nice. Lol I'm looking forward to the rest of this series. I haven't seen anyone else document their supermoto build to this level.
Hey Brent I love your content and all this is my favorite series but please please man longer episodes or more of this series per week please man, love you anyways
+Solo Wolf Making them as fast as I can! Gotta keep it balanced and can only do stuff when parts are ready. I'm glad you're liking them though! Thanks!
I just checked thw channel if there's an update video on the build because I can't wait for it. Oh wow. 12 minutes ago part 2. yay. Wasn't in the subscriptions list. 267 views oh wow. Awesome videos which teach alot to a beginner like me.
my parents do want me to get a bike for my summer and spring vehicle and i want a yamaha r3 or r6 but my parents said no, do you think a super moto would be better for a beginner?
even though its converting over to a supermoto. doesn't it still require the demanding maintenance a dirtbike needs? Like frequent oil changes and such. where as the lets say wr250x doesn't require all that because it's pretty much a factory supermoto
When I heard "HEY!" at the beginning, I almost expected to hear "this is Anthony" from Revzilla.com :P 2nd thing, with your talking bits, probably best just to set the focus manually to prevent the slight focus hunting, especially since you're not really moving backwards or forwards. I'm enjoying this series, even though I don't plan to convert a dirt bike anytime soon.
did you go with the lower and wider option or just wider? been looking for a better seat for my husqvarna. the ride to work or on weekends becomes pretty uncomfortable on that hard stock seat.
dont know about the plastic my thoughts are if its sharp nuff to cut the leather seat that plastic will get a hole too dropping bike on rocks or tree branches keys ect
sup motonosity good work on the videos man keep it up also i got a question for you. could you tell me what bike you would recommend for someone that is the height of 6foot5
I sat on a ktm 690 I was gonna buy with a seat concepts seat. It was comfy but made the 690 look beefier than it already is. Like a shaq sized dirt bike.
MOTONOSITY what is the song you used if love to have it in some of my works in progress. Thank you keep up the good work. The bike is going to look amazing.
Do you know if the 450 comfort seat fits a 250? Website doesn't show a comfort for the 250 😕 thanks and btw excellent vids can't wait for more on the build
Some bikes only have the sport version listed on the website. It's still very comfortable, just not AS wide. I'd shoot them an email and ask if they offer a comfort seat for your bike!
hey moto my bro. i have been thinking about an r1 but people have been telling me the r1 seat is super uncomfotable. what is your thoughts on that because i love the bike
Now not all stock dirtbike seats are hard!! Just saying that for future reference because people might get angry. Awesome series tho. Maybe make videos longer!! :)
+Ethan Burleigh Yeah ut really depends on the bike. On my WR250X I run 13-46. On the CRF I'll be running 14-42 to start out. May try something different after I spend some time with it :)
Again, it depends what kind of bike youre converting. If you just need wheels, you can get Warp 9s with your rotors and sprocket for ~$1k. But that's rarely all you need unless you've already got a street legal dual sport.
I love this build series. Really good editing and content, and super interesting.
Thanks man!
I love this garage! It looks like home lol
It is home! Lol

Absolutely astounding quality tutorial. I have no need for a supermoto seat but hot damn if I ever needed to this is the place I would go .
But what if you like sitting on 2x4s? or wood in general?
Then your ass gonna be flatter than spongebob ass, oh and also love your videos , you are probably one of the kindest youtubers ever , when i saw that hotdog video i was like god damn give that man a medal ( not even kidding) love you brah #fullhomo
If I were building a bike for you, I'd replace the seat with an actual 2x4. Put I'd install it sideways cuz we all know you like getting flossed.
+Motonosity lol. Dat 2x4 smell after a humid weekend of riding. Musky. He could put it in a wood chipper and sell the chips on eBay.
what a day to make a gay joke...
yeah, you like sitting on wood…
and +FlubahDub - we stand with them, it's a tragedy what happened, but that's no reason to avoid mentioning something. They should be in our thoughts, just with Fry it's never appropriate ;)
I'm loving the series so far. The music suits the format really well too. Keep the vids coming man 😀
+Julian Rich will do, bro!
you know you make good videos when this is the 3rd time I've watched this series:)
Been looking for a series like this for a while man, just having a good time building sick bikes! I've been tossing up building a supermoto as my commuter too so it gives me some inspiration. Keen to tune in for future episodes bro, keep up the good work.
+Joel Wood thanks man! I used my WR250X as a commuter for a while and it did great

Love these series, so enjoyable to watch and the attention to details are on point !
you do a real good job with the editing, such professional, much clean
+supermotoboy400 preciate it dude
Top notch video. I did a seat recover for my old seat before, definitely changes the look of the bike for the better, too. Keep up the great work.
This is a fantastic tutorial! The seat looks great too! Nice work!!
this series have helped me out alot
Good to hear!
Looking forward to this. Always like these series / builds!!
love the videos every Sunday I keep looking in my feed for a new video!
+PIZZA&DIRTBIKES glad you're enjoying them!
Hey Brent I love your content and all this is my favorite series but please please man longer episodes or more of this series per week please man, love you anyways
+Solo Wolf Making them as fast as I can! Gotta keep it balanced and can only do stuff when parts are ready. I'm glad you're liking them though! Thanks!
+Motonosity No problem brotha keep it up love and support from Greece!
you're a inspirational person keep the video's comming dude!
So early got that 360p. Love the series. Keep up the awesome content.
Thanks for the tutorial.... Doing my seat kit right now... About to pull the cover TAUGHT over the seat and foam and get that bad boy stapled!
Love these vids, please upload them more often!!!
Great job man.. I think I will look into upgrading my seat since I saw this. Thanks
+WoodenCreationz I love mine!
Please get more content about the build out more! Awesome dude
Awesome video. Love every second of it.
Dude, you are killing it. :-) stay awesome
Your garage is so damn clean!
Awesome garage :D
I just checked thw channel if there's an update video on the build because I can't wait for it. Oh wow. 12 minutes ago part 2. yay. Wasn't in the subscriptions list. 267 views oh wow. Awesome videos which teach alot to a beginner like me.
Helpful video, I'm sure I'll come back to this in the future for when I do something like that myself :]
I was waiting for this!
unless u have an older bike like an 1990 xt350 and the plastic it so thick you need to heat it first or use an air stapler
I can't wait till this is all done, I wonder how many episodes this will be.
12
I say 8-10 tops
I can't wait to see how the bike turns out. Question: is it safe to lace super moto rims to the original hubs on this particular bike.
Are you going to post every supermoto build video on sunday? I have waited whole last week for this video, awsome series ;)
That's the plan. Depending on scheduling, something might come out during the week. We'll see.
Nice Brow! Watch from Brazil
Yep, LOVE the seat concept seats.
Sweet seat. Thanks for the video.
I might take some of these ideas and change up some stuff later on
Put a hydrolic clutch on the 450. Look up the CLAKE 2 or PRO-LEVER. they are awesome.
my parents do want me to get a bike for my summer and spring vehicle and i want a yamaha r3 or r6 but my parents said no, do you think a super moto would be better for a beginner?
Just rode 440 miles round trip in my WR, I have to get one of these... Still sore
What do you think of the Yamaha wr125x I was thinking of getting one?
Keep up the good work bro
Hi, im 16 and i just got a rieju mrt supermotard 50cc, how do i know what size/type of seats will fit to my bike? Ty!! :)
even though its converting over to a supermoto. doesn't it still require the demanding maintenance a dirtbike needs? Like frequent oil changes and such. where as the lets say wr250x doesn't require all that because it's pretty much a factory supermoto
+Sketch yep, but I've got the time for it.
When I heard "HEY!" at the beginning, I almost expected to hear "this is Anthony" from Revzilla.com :P

I'm enjoying this series, even though I don't plan to convert a dirt bike anytime soon.
I like your shop very clean, I have a attached 2 car garage is this basically what you have?
+Josh Turner yep! Little bit wider than 2, but yes.
did you go with the lower and wider option or just wider? been looking for a better seat for my husqvarna. the ride to work or on weekends becomes pretty uncomfortable on that hard stock seat.
dont know about the plastic my thoughts are if its sharp nuff to cut the leather seat that plastic will get a hole too
dropping bike on rocks or tree branches keys ect
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right :) Why take any chances?
Hey Motonosity!! What are the shoes that you were wearing in this video? They look pretty clean.
sup motonosity good work on the videos man keep it up also i got a question for you. could you tell me what bike you would recommend for someone that is the height of 6foot5
Hey bud I'm about to get the same seat for my wr450, did you get the regular comfort seat? Or the low version?
Awesomeee!
What length stapels do you recomend that I use. Thanks Bud...
mannydcbianco well said. thanks for sharing motonosity
I sat on a ktm 690 I was gonna buy with a seat concepts seat. It was comfy but made the 690 look beefier than it already is. Like a shaq sized dirt bike.
+Belicose777 Yeah the comfort is a bit wider. The sport version isn't as wide but still has the same great foam and cover.
+Motonosity it looks good. Should hug that tooshie nicely.
Awesome man. Really helpful
MOTONOSITY what is the song you used if love to have it in some of my works in progress. Thank you keep up the good work. The bike is going to look amazing.
Added to the description
love the build keep it up
Quick question.. how are you gonna register an "off-road only" title for the street? i know in illinois, we can't do that.
+Greg Szoda in Texas we can
damn lucky bastard! anyway, the build is coming along great! Love the powdercoated parts, the wheels are fire!
What is it you do for a living?
Do you know if the 450 comfort seat fits a 250? Website doesn't show a comfort for the 250 😕 thanks and btw excellent vids can't wait for more on the build
Some bikes only have the sport version listed on the website. It's still very comfortable, just not AS wide. I'd shoot them an email and ask if they offer a comfort seat for your bike!
+Motonosity thanks 👍🏻
Moto what shoes are those? They look dope
+Alex Thanks! They are Nike Free SB
Nice vid bud. Did you make any relief cuts on the bends/corner of the seat cover while wrapping it over?
+BrockGrimes didn't really need to on this one but I did on my WR. I might add a couple small ones though.
Love the build and loving that backing sounds, who is it?
Iv'e got a yz426 and i love the stock seat for road riding. Just opinion i guess 💪
+Frankie Doodle Yeah, to each their own :)
what year is his wr250x
what if you put the engine of the crf450 on the body of the wr250 ?
+Marwan Deso2y any would I do that? The WR is heavy.
+Motonosity i thought it would be a street legal super moto :)
Rocking the Fitbit
+tweetchris46 alwahs haha
Awesome video!
hey moto my bro. i have been thinking about an r1 but people have been telling me the r1 seat is super uncomfotable. what is your thoughts on that because i love the bike

+isaiah gonzales to*

Nice series
What happened to OurMoto? I was talking to some people near me to possibly ride with :p
Is it really worth the money, I've got a Wr450 and it's horrible. I've been thinking about buying a new seat set up.
For me it is. If I'm spending a lot of time on my bike, I want it to be comfortable!
+Motonosity Yeah true, thanks for the reply buddy. looking forward to the rest of the build!!!
I got a crf250r may get one of these tbh motonisity :)what you think
+Justin Mcgraw You'll love it!
+Motonosity how much do they usually cost and im on long island wish i couldve met you c2w and walteriffic when you guys were in nyc
Now not all stock dirtbike seats are hard!! Just saying that for future reference because people might get angry. Awesome series tho. Maybe make videos longer!! :)
Great looks.
I have one question... where did you get that shirt???
+jared scheidweiler Zumiez
"Pulling it tot" haha Much love NO HOMO
What bike do you recommend I have never ridden before and I am 5'11 and weigh 210 pounds
The one you like most.
+Motonosity thanks do you recommend a husqvarna 450 or a crf 450
+FaZe WaNdI (MER1CA M4N) either one would be good go with the one that's comfortable for you
+electrodude5 all right thanks bro
+FaZe WaNdI (MER1CA M4N) no problem
What song is that?
Good review/build gj
does your camera have manual focus ? This video was soo good but that auto focus was like ahhh nooo but dude this series is sick !
+Steve Light the auto focus on this camera is actually incredible (look at comments on previous vids with it). Not sure why it acted up this time.
Does Seat Concepts sell fully assembled seats or just these kits?
+Beyond Remote they sure do!
+Motonosity Sweet, thanks!
Hey buddy
awesome seat
what sproket gearing do you usually run on your super motos? im not sure what to run on mine
it depends what kind of supermoto you have on my wr250x i run 13/45 because i use it on the higway a lot, if i didn t i would run 13/47 or 13/48
+Anto Pc thanks for the reply. What is your top speed with that highway gearing?
+Ethan Burleigh it s about 85 mph (gps, oem speedo is way off) but i have to adjust fueling a bit, so possibly higher once i sort it out
+Anto Pc perfect. thanks so much
+Ethan Burleigh Yeah ut really depends on the bike. On my WR250X I run 13-46. On the CRF I'll be running 14-42 to start out. May try something different after I spend some time with it :)
how much does it cost to convert to supermoto, disregarding cost of bike. guesstimate
depends how much you want to do and what you need on your bike.
Motonosity how much did you spend excluding the paint job?
Again, it depends what kind of bike youre converting. If you just need wheels, you can get Warp 9s with your rotors and sprocket for ~$1k. But that's rarely all you need unless you've already got a street legal dual sport.
what do u do for a living motornosity
