When Jessie get older, she should start her own channel with her and Freya and all the adventures they have together. I would definitely subscribe ❤😊👯♀️
It is best for you to be home with Freya. Like you stated, your salary would come in and go straight to paying for a caregiver. Not to mention that Freya has various appointments she needs to attend, and just plain needs her Mom’s special support. Freya is thriving in large part to you Marci, and how you have found unique ways to allow her to learn and come along in leaps and bounds. ❤😊 Freya is so precious, giving fist pumps ti you. She so knows what you say to her. Jesse is a cutie as usual, and a thoughtful sister!
I had the same situation. My youngest is severely disabled. It would have cost more than I could have earned for child care. I missed my job, too, but the family needs had to come first.
@@Freyasluckyarm As mom's, God asks us to sacrifice our desires for our children's needs. You and your family will be blessed by your presence in the home. NEVER think a mom doesn't WORK!! Our job though not paid monetarily reeps sooo much more. 👦+👩=👱👧👧+🐕 😂 😘 💞 🤗 🏡
That Jessie Jane is such a joy to watch. Her smile, her dimples, her beautiful hair, and the way she helps with Freya...she's just awesome! Please tell her I said so!
As a special education teacher, what you were saying about all that it takes to take care of Freya, and handle her medical issues, makes complete sense. And unless a family is independently wealthy, it is very unlikely that a mom could work while at the same time having her special needs four year-old get what she needs. It just doesn’t pencil out. Marci, you are doing an amazing job!
I believe you stated Freya is covered by Medicaid. It is illegal for any medical organization to bill you. All you have to do is make sure they have your insurance information. Then tell them you will report it to the State Human Services if they send another bill. (They should be sending statements to show what they're billing the insurance) If they haven't billed your insurance in a year, a portion can be denied for untimely billing, unless it's a "yearly" fee. (For example, my homecare & call button are billed yearly, my medical supplies are billed quarterly, prescriptions as filled. ALL billed at END of the service period) If you continue to have problems, call your State Human Services. I know it can be a real pain. Sadly it's just part of being the grown-up. Sometimes it's just human error, we all make mistakes now & then. Best of everything for your beautiful family. 💕🙏
Marci I deeply empathize with the insurance fiasco! I went through the same thing with my health insurance and Medicare. No one was paying the medical services so the buck was passed to me. Medical billing directed me to get on a three way call and go down the list to see who was responsible for wack medical service I received. I refused to do another person's job so I could no longer make any appointments until the 10,0000 were paid!!!! It's a travesty what can happen with insurance providers and billing!!! I am in awe of you as a mother of 4 beautiful children! Jesse is a little guardian angel and so precious. Freya melts my heart when she smiles. I want to thank you with all my heart for the daily dose of Freya and the rest of the children. Your daily schedule is full yet you manage to provide daily posts of that precious child. I watch your post over and over because your family has won my heart. Love you Marci...hang in their beautiful lady!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I hope that the insurance situation is not any more frustrating than it already is, if that makes sense. How good it would be in situations like this to be able to facetime or zoom both parties and have them sort out the problem and solve it in the time it actually takes to get a phone call answered!
Believe this: It happens to everyone. It’s a pain in the butt. Frankly, I look back when the kids were in school, I don’t know how I did it. Working full time, going to college to earn a Bachelor’s then a Master’s Degree, my husband died when I was 33 yo and he was 35 yo leaving me with 3 kids. I do believe you can get child care for her medical complexities paid for also. It’s a fine line we all walk if we desire to work. For me, there were no choices. We just built a new home when my husband passed. I had the desire to keep things as they were. It’s about the will and desire and fortitude to do all those things I mentioned. Everyone is different. We all have our limits and like I said, I don’t know how I achieved it all in my younger days, but I did. Whew! Haha.
The card Jesse made for you is so precious! She is such a sweet little girl!! And Freya showing she wanted her toothbrush was awesome! She definitely has a mind of her own and knows what she wants! The fist bumps were too cute with her giggles! Great vlog and good luck with your insurance issues! ❤
Health insurance in America is a mystery....hard enough having a speacial needs child and then have to worry about money and payments is just salt in a wound. Dont get me started. Love watching how good Jesse is with Freya ❤❤❤❤
Sorting medical bills is soooo frustrating. I refuse to stay on hold on the phone, listening to "greensleeves", I contact them by email and that way I have a written record of all communications so I don't have to repeat the same info over and over, I just say "refer to *** email) and let them do the work. Deep breathing and counting to 10 go a long way too 😂😂
Thank you Marci, it is so good to see Jessie and Freya playing together. What a clever girl Freya cleaning your teeth. You being home is so valuable to you and Freya, the maths just don’t add up other wise. The powers that be in insurance are keen to take your money but, when it comes to paying out they are so difficult. Jessie’s drawing you a note was lovely, well done Jessie! Take care all of you until next time!🇬🇧 X
I love the fist bumps! I was on the business side of healthcare for my entire career. Very often, the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing regarding insurance matters. Many insurance companies have outsourced their billing and collections overseas, which results in untrained or poorly trained staff attempting to solve problems. You have to stay persistent and document, document, document.

If the company agreed To bill your insurance, and they did not, most insurances have a filing limit, which private insurance would most likely be 90 days. So if they failed to bill the insurance, and it denies for untimely filing, they cannot bill you, especially when it comes to Medicaid. I do hospital billing, so this is something I'm very familiar with.
You are exactly where you should be! To think that working outside the home would make things better is ridiculous. This country has gone downhill so far on this issue. Moms, if at all possible should be in the home. When we as a society let that go is when the family unit was fractured and has gotten worse and worse over the years….I know, I have lived it. I’m not saying that moms shouldn’t work if they want to, or are a single parent, I’m saying that it should be a choice instead of a need.
I don‘t have a medical complex child, but I still get very frustrated when people have bad work ethics and just don’t do their jobs right. It’s extremely frustrating. I‘m from the era where you give 100% when you work. Can a mistake happen, sure, but they’re just all to common today. I hope it all gets worked out quickly for you.
A lot of doctors offices & insurance companies like to charge insurance and patients. She looks like she has grown a couple of inches since seeing her last time and her hair is so long & pretty ❤
Oh Marcy, I feel your pain with the insurance company. Well sort of, I don't have any medical issues as severe as Freya's, but I need a specific test and my insurance is being weird about it. I lost over 20lbs on a fast food diet. I look a lot better, but that can't be right. Clearly there's something medically wrong, but without the money, my medical mystery will remain a mystery. Because pf my bipolar I nosy days don't even care to fight others days I fight too much. Right now I'm a 170lbs so nobody sees my inability to eat consistently a problem, but I was 216lb when my problem returned. I wonder will they when I'm 140lb and continuing to loose weight. Because I'm my medical background I know enough to know that for now I'm find, and hopefully by the time it becomes a real problem I'll have gotten through to them. My doctor told me the problem is my weight, when we met 3 years ago u was 135lb with the sake problem. Anything that would be evaluated because of weight isn't. My cholesterol is above good. My good cholesterol is better than good. My blood pressure is perfect, my heart rate fine, tge only problem that shows is tge elevation of my white blood cells. Meaning infection. It's been like that for over a year. Next appointment, I'm going to be mean bean Bri. Not nice Bri. If she would've check tge records she would've seen I've lost 15lbs since our last appointment, but she didn't bother. Instead she tried to riffle back through family history that I gave her in 2020. It's probably just not a good fit. Her nursing staff and office manager are wonderful though . I said all that to say, I'm proud of you because fighting with doctor's and insurance companies can be rough. Good luck to you guys. You definitely shouldn't be paying for the formula.
Why you don't work is your choice, others have nothing to do with it in fact. I will say that I think it's great that you stay at home, especially with someone like Freya, that you can be there for your children. If you can afford it, I would certainly do the same. Unfortunately, I no longer have a job. But that's because of my chronic condition. I have always done care work, cleaning the homes of elderly and sick people. I thought that was wonderful work, I was so disappointed that I could no longer work because my body was giving up. Very disappointing. But now I have to think about myself so that I don't get sick anymore and that I don't get depressed anymore. You have a completely different reason for not working. If you can afford it, great. Everyone can make their own choices. And if no one else has a problem with it, that's great.
Hi Marci I know what you're going through you get and pay for insurance so you don't have to pay anything sounds like that person don't know what to do ❤❤❤❤
I think that mums of children with a condition have to be payed from the insurance. They are not able to work and make no money any longer. It is much more expense to raise a kid with a condition. And the insurance has to pay into the pension insurance for the mothers. That would be the right way. But they give you more stress and more things to do. It's crazy...
You said it well Ms. Marci, the insurance co. should be doing their part not you. And obviously things aren’t done correctly if we are on hold that long for billing to answer.
