2024 Literacy Conference Keynote Speaker Salaam Green - "Finding Your Oak Tree"

Eco-poet, activist and Birmingham Poet Laureate Salaam Green was the lunch keynote speaker at the Pages & Pathways: Literacy Conference held June 19, 2024 at the UND Memorial Union. Her invigorating address, "Finding Your Oak Tree", was presented to a crowd of nearly 200 educators and professionals.
Green is an alumna of the University of North Dakota, where she earned her master's degree in Early Childhood Education.
