You all have been asking for it, so I made it happen! Yes! In this video Dakota, my German Shepherd/best friend/co-driver/protector, decides to take the truck out for a delivery... ALL ON HER OWN! Can you believe it? Who would have thought a truck dog could become an actual OTR trucker? Anyways, of course it's all a joke, and is a spin off of my Trucker Recovery 3 part series. I so get this!!!Thanks Happiness By The Mile.I am a retired OTR truck driver,my co-driver and beloved companion was Bailey,a pure bred border collie.His main goal,besides filling my heart with love was to FETCH.His favorite TOY was a large kong on the end of a rope.I could whip and toss this so far,but he was SOOOO fast he could get to where it landed even before it stopped moving.He loved all the toys I got him,I got him many squeaky toys,he had to tear them apart as fast as he could to get that squeaky plastic part out,LOL and he would sit there and squeak it till it would not squeak any more.He was such a blessing in my life,I had him for 13 great years,I LOVE and MISS him and am so thankful for every day we had together.Dogs are Great!!!Take care!!!

Had a Siberian Husky named Cody. He loved the Winter, the worse it was the more he liked it. 20 below 0, snow blowing in 30 mph wind, he would refuse to come inside. Great dog.

WOW! You missed your true calling young lady. You should have been a cinematographer or something in that line. I can't recall a video that brought a smile and happiness like this one did for a long time... Why anyone would dislike this production (and it is truly a time consuming production) is beyond me. You knocked this one out of the park and you should be proud of how well this was put together. @18 Destinations I'm sure your'e at least partially right. Could also be she had to put something out and didn't have anything better. If she can't film in her rig her hands are pretty much tied though.

My co-driver is my 4 year old border collie, Labrador Retriever and burnese mountain dog mix, Oliver!
Loves running around at rest stops and getting a whole bed to himself going down the road.

I have a service dog in training. Her name is Yssa and she’s a German Shepherd/lab/Pitbull mix and she’s the kindest, most hard working doggo. She’s also quite big. She’s as big as her German Shepherd dad

I'm a dog lover & it makes me nervous to see Dakota without a collar. It only takes a dog a second to bolt for unexpected reasons. A collar with your cell # on is a must.

We have a chocolate lab named Lexi on the truck with us, and our Siamese/rag doll cat Tips. Usually truckers have small dogs with them so I love seeing other drivers with big dogs.

My dog's name is Pepper and she's a 15 yr old Jug (Jack Russell and Pug) - her coloring is that of the pug, her tail is curled like the pug, but her snout is that of the Jack Russell. Her height is somewhere between the two breeds. She used to have the hyperactive personality of the Jack Russell and the laziness of the Pug, but as she's gotten older she's showed more of her Pug side. This video definitely brought a smile to my face. Thank you Shelby and stay safe!

I've got a mountain cur, that goes to work with me most everyday on the farm. Like your dog gets upset if left at home, but doesn't drive that I know of, lol. Great production!
