Hey Astral Gang! Here's my very first Retrowave mix and with running time spanning over 50 minutes. Title is also inspired by one of you guys (Whiteless Eye) thanks for the inspiration! Drop some names below for next week's mix. As usual, enjoy the mix don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE!
Am I the only non-nostalgic that enjoys this beautiful music genre? Don't decry your lost childhood by retreating into old videogames and old movies. Past is gone, never returns. This music is beautiful in itself. Listen to it while you drive. While you make love to your android girlfriend, during the long 20 hours flight to Mars or when you walk through the 1000 floor skyscrapers in Beijing. I'm joking. Future is already here. If it sucks for you right now don't give up. Find a solution to live the life you want. There always is one. Be a star in your own 80's movie. Shine on, you crazy diamond
Perfect mix for playing Japanese arcade games on a Friday afternoon in a California shopping mall that somehow feels like it could exist either in 1986 or 2077.
I'm working on what I really hope will end up being a very useful tech product that could enable tons of indie filmmakers to tackle really complicated VFX shots a lot easier, and I've nearly given up multiple times so far (I'm about 200 hour of work committed so far). I think I may genuinely owe you my sanity, Astral, for having this music made available to me. Of those 200 hours, I've probably spent at least half of them listening to your mixes over and over again, and if I manage to make a working product, I'll have you to thank for it.
@@renderllama7036 Oh hi there! It went pretty well actually! I never finished the project, but I learned a boatload from failing at it, and somebody else made a better version of it anyways. I was able to use the experience I gained from the project to start interviewing for jobs, and I actually managed to land my first full time position as a data scientist. All thanks to Astral's awesome mixes helping me stay sane during the grind. How are you doing, internet stranger?
Retrowave is awesome! These are some cloudy days for me both literally and figuratively but I can always find the motivation to keep on programming projects during winter break.
Sincerely, truly, especially thanks for the audioengineering editing loads of Audiobliss!! The retrowave mixes you do are tremendous and excellently done.
If you pressed these albums into CD's.... I would happily buy. I have never said that before to any synthwave artist. You are amazing! Can I pay to use some songs in my videos? Give you full credit too.
i listen to this while playing classic doom, classic half life, quake 2, fallout 1, team fortress classic, counter strike 1.6 and last but not least its not a classic game but its a half life 1 mod that is based around the 80s feel and its got even got synthwave tracks in it and 80s posters ghetto blasters the hole nine yards and just to top it off your trying to escape from a 80s moive like prison and for the end theres a jet boat escape and the half life 1 mod is called half life C.A.G.E.D i recommend checking it out!

Dude! I still have one of those things from my dad! We have Asteroids instead of Space Invaders, though.

I'm old enough to remember when Atari and Space invaders was new. I love it so I subscribed. Thanks.
Pretty cool. Sounds like what Pong-era straight-to-video sci-fi films might have had if the music budgets had been more than $200.
That artwork is so dope
Listening to this while driving 👌 am I right?
When you click on a retro wave mix but get full pop songs as ads instead. Talk about a mood killer.
I think you're the best around at these mixes right now! I consistently love your playlists.
Ha, Atari 2600, Space invaders, Coca cola and Astral Throb mix = awesome! MegaThx

You just know a mix is going to be great when it starts with a Kiile track. :)
Waiting for a Darkwave version. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
Happy Holidays, Astral Throb.
Good old Atari console. Remembering the days playing cartridge / cassette computer games in Atari and Spectrum in a black and white TV screen ... :D

I disliked due to the abundance of ad breaks in this. It ruins the experience when there are that many that close together
