@@howlinggunz1204 I don't think you can claim it takes more skill. The mechanics in Chivalry are highly complex and have far more considerations than what I see in this MK Online clip. Every movement and degree of an angle of attack or defense matters in Chivalry.
@@lukes5631 I have many hours in both Chivalry, Mordau and Mortal Online 2 and Chivalry requires the least skill out of all of the games as you can hold right click to block instead of it being a timed or directional parry. It is most likely hard to tell watching these big fights but the way the combat works in Mortal Online 2 is that there are 4 directions you can attack in and when blocking/parrying you must block in the correct direction, the player attacking can preform feints to cause the player defending to block in the wrong direction and because there is no turn cap like there is in Mordau and Chivalry so one can spin while preforming feints raising the skill curve by a considerable margin.
@@howlinggunz1204 That's some cool combat complexity. I do think you are down playing the skill level in Chivalry though. I played at a comp level and it is game of highly intrinsic physics manipulation. MK Online sounds like, as the other guy said, very reaction based in a fixed set of parameters like you mentioned.
I just can't understand this combat? It feels so janky you have other players hitting you way outside their striking zone and the whole thing feels clumsy and weird. I've been watching tutorials and videos on the combat for a few weeks now and the combat is the biggest detractor from me trying this game. Which is ironic because the PVP seems to be one of the strong points of people who play the game. I don't get it.
Ah yes, a fellow Hopsin enjoyer. Good vid

Well played
So, basically the combat is like a terrible version of Chivalry.. ?
Yeah way less mechanics, it’s more like a fast paced melee game. Got to have super fast reactions.
Way better than Chivalry in my opinion takes much more skill.
