Western United prevailed 5-4 over Perth Glory in a chaotic, see-sawing A-League contest on Saturday afternoon that saw a competition record eight second half goals hit the back of the net in Geelong.

Defence. Who needs it?
Haven’t seen a game this good since the wanderers beat Brisbane 5-4
@@alpexmate I’m being biased 😉 🔴⚫️
A league has stepped up this year in quality
8 goals in the second half.... 🤯
What a game! more of this please.
9 goal in 90 minute , 10 minute /1 goal😸
A League fantastic this season!
Archie thompson: Theres still time!
The time: *96:58*
This was peak A League at its finest.
Goals galore!
POGGERS
I will never understand why the FFA gave Western United and Melbourne City A League licences ahead of South Melbourne. Its such a joke a profession football match with only 3,600 people in attendance.
And only a little over 3,000 again last week
What a game
A crowd of ONLY 3,600. Letting Western United in ahead of South Melbourne is the biggest mistake that the FFA have ever made.
I agree
And you think south Melbourne would get anymore fans than that??
Just shut up no one even cares
@@caelanfarrugia9841 South did get bigger crowds than that every time they played in the NSL. Even when the NSL was not even on TV.
give it a rest mate u comment on every video, it’s a bit sad tbh
This is how football should be like, not drab 0-0 draws
Dumb comment. Football needs defense
@@dxfifa yeah but a goalless game is pointless
@@AvatarN Goalless games aren't pointless. Each team gets one.
@@MrMmnngghh 😅😅😅
Then watch A-League. Never 0-0
best game
Just have a look at the crowd empty seats as far as the eye can see. The majority of the stands were closed. This is such a bad look for Australian Soccer. South Melbourne deserve a spot more than half of the teams in the comp. LET SOUTH MELBOURNE BACK IN.
Fax
So they can get 4,000 like they did in the "good old days"? No thank you
@zić Western United and Melboune City's crowds have always be terrible.
@@alessandrovari3127 Firstly they used to get more than 4,000 and secondly a lot has changed since then the Media actually cover Australian Soccer now, Channel 7 bought the rights then ONLY showed it at midnight as a highlights package this destroyed NSL Crowds. Secondly South Melbourne played out of an old ran down stadium that was 70% standing room. Today the South Melbourne Stadium is state of the art. Western UTD and City are both playing out of State of the Art Modern Stadiums that have had hundreds of millions spent on them despite this they cannot pull a crowd.
Another huge crowd for Western United. It should of been South Melbourne who won that license. We have a lot more fans than what WU do.
@@alpexmate How much has City's fan base grown by since they joined a decade ago?
How much as the GWS and Suns fan bases grown by?
When a team is new that is when their crowds tend to be at their peak they tend to fall over time not grow.
LET South Melbourne in we have a much bigger supporter base. Western United are a joke.
Western United are a joke? Did you not watch last season they got to the semi finals now stop crying about it
@Max Craven South Melbourne are the same as Port Adelaide when the AFL was formed and they were left out. Port's crowds nose fell dramatically. But when Port were finally let into the AFL their fans all came back and in fact were at all-time record high levels. People who went to South games in the NSL want to watch South play at the top level they do not want to watch them play in a 2nd tier comp.
@@bigyoshi5092 The issue is they have no fans. They have an awesome team and no fans. South Melbourne have more fans.
@@POWERFan-hs2qm they just started the team will grow bigger and bigger over the years if you can’t handle change keep watching south Melbourne
@@bigyoshi5092 Last year WU VS Victory at Geelong got 10k today WU VS Victory got ONLY 7k. Their crowds are getting smaller not bigger. The Victory get bigger crowds at AAMI Park than what WU VS Victory get a AAMI Park. WU are an absolute disaster.
