Every. Single. Character in this show had their shtick, was entirely unique and played to perfection. Also the fact that this wasn't approached as a sit-com was a breath of fresh air for 9 year old me at the time. Amazing show.

As a kid what I liked was the absence of a laugh track.

This show really normalized everyone being different than they appear to be (bullies were softies, gangster girls were boy crazy, etc) and it's one of the biggest reasons why this show holds up today. The humor is so innocent and perfect. I am so glad I grew up watching this show

I used to hope my middle school would somewhat resemble his. I was so disappointed.
I'm from a different country. And while watching these shows back in the day I always thought schools in America were like these lol
Hahah, to be honest. This show was more high school than middle school like. Like most of the things they talked about applied more to my high school years than my middle school years.
While it was cartoony and over-the-top, I will say, it did capture the way middle school dynamics work really well. It actually felt like a real middle school.
Other shows make it seem like the writers never stepped foot inside a middle school.

1 - "That's So Raven" was on the DISNEY CHANNEL, not Nickelodeon
2 - Growing up in the 2000s, I never liked "That's So Raven" (it wasn't at all funny compared to the masterpiece that is "Ned's Declassified")

This show was literally a masterpiece, they knew EXACTLY what they were doing. This and Drake + Josh were the best of the best in their own ways. Nothing like those two shows

This show needs more recognition
FRESHGANGSTA I feel like it was recognized during its time. It’s on the same level as shows as Drake and Josh and Zoey 101 as far as classics. But I think why we all feel like it’s underrated now is because the newer generation doesn’t know this show like the other two now because it wasn’t Syndicated as much Drake and Josh and Zoey 101 was after it ended. Another popular Nick show I feel that suffered from this from that same time period was the Naked Brothers Band and Lil Romeo
Ned's Declassified ran for 3 years same as Drake & Josh and Zoey 101 so it's up there in popularity as them now shows like Unfabulous and Just Jordan did not really get a chance.

Wish we all had friends just like everyone in this show, life would be awesome
My friends started drifting apart when we didn't go to school together and i haven't even met any friends like in the movies, like Loomer though he's sometimes bully but sometimes he's kind, the characters aren't being forced into a framework, a bully will only bully all the time. And at least they don't notice and tease others for a long time
Yeah I think so, I believe we all need friends like that. Their friendship was great, sharing, sticking, trusting and respecting each other, even when Ned and Moze were dating but Cookie never left out because there's a saying that if the friendship of three people, then one person will definitely feel lost and that's reality and I've been through that, but I hope real life will be like in the movie. Because the boys in my class just bullied me at that age

This show really was something else😂 So many sound effects and overacting, but that’s what made it so great!
This show came out right as I was able to get all the innuendos and double entendres and it cemented it as amazing! My favorite line is Ned venting to the janitor then just going "Im conflicted, help." lol

I know my comment is late to jjrrhh1983, but if you watch the intro and see the real life school used as a background for the show, I went to that school and it’s called La Mesa Jr high school and is in Santa Clarita California. Great school to.

It deserves to be a meme
I really like the sound effects in this movie and the way they transition, it's more unique than the sound effects in sitcoms now. Cookie is the one who makes me laugh the most on the show because of his sense of humor, I wonder why no one gets the series of memes from Cookie, his expression is so funny and Ned and Moze made me laugh with their sweetness. I prefer them to be a couple because I want to see how the relationship between best friends turns into love and I personally find them very sweet from season 1. This movie is also very true to the fact that sometimes you don't think you will fall in love with your best friend and you never noticed them before. I also found out that Ned and Moze used to date, I've always wished for that while watching this movie but now that they've broken up, it's so sad. I hope they can consider being together again. But maybe I shouldn't ship them together, because I don't have luck to ship couple.

Replacing a laugh track with over the top sound effects really helped push this show to another level
Watching Ned's Declassified made me miss middle school so much, which is something I thought wouldn't be possible because I hated middle school so much and was beyond happy to leave that place forever! I'm not sure whether to love the show for it or hate it for it. My school was like Ned's Declassified, but very very ghetto lol
