I planted hollyhock seeds called powder puff, and they bloomed the first year next to a chain link fence. They were beautiful and people driving by would actually stop and ask me what they were, (if I was out in the yard at the time). I need to get some more seeds and grow them again. I loved how attention grabbing and beautiful they were.
These faux flowers on the set don’t so justice to the gorgeous blooms of the real flowers. I wish QVC could show the real thing, but I understand that they might not be allowed to bring the real plant into the studio. I love that Hollyhocks are non-toxic and it’s safe for animals to be around. 💝

I've sown mine in april, planted seedlings in july, blooms next year since june ( or july, can't remember exactly but it was quite early).
