Great tips love. I wish I had this video back when I was starting. I was so mad because I had great content but wasn't getting any attention. 1k was mission impossible. I was lucky when I found out I can boost my channel with initial subs just enough to start getting noticed. I got myself first couple of hundred subs for very low price (personally used Fame - ster). After that my main channel gain a ton of organic traffic.
My boyfriend is literally the only one who keeps pushing me whenever i feel like dropping TH-cam, coz I struggle with views, growth, etc. And it feels so pointless at times but he always encourages me to keep going. He’s more invested in this journey than I am and it’s such a beautiful thing❤

At 45 videos in I still feel like I’m throwing spaghetti at the wall, not enough data yet to dig deep in my analytics cause views have been low - lowest is 18- (but I do have 2 that just went over 500 views). - I’d say the best part of not going viral is having time to get better at making videos and time to find my voice in this huge TH-cam world! Great advice! Yes, always check your analytics. You can find your most popular videos and make more of those with similar content. I should have figured that out years ago. For instance, Spanish videos for kids do very well on my channel. So, I'm going to concentrate on those in 2024 primarily. I believe this will help my channel grow way more.
Literally the first person I've seen on here to actually be honest about wanting to prove everyone wrong and make everything work even if it isn't sustainable. I genuinely appreciate the honesty!

I use to stress so much over my content whether is was good or not, etc. Then I got to the point and was like why stress over it, it's not getting me anywhere. This was such good advice! I have only recently started taking youtube seriously. My main focus right now is improving my video quality and making my videos less boring! Also trying to balance youtube with work and my other social platforms! Actually come to the realisation I need to focus on less! I'm not focusing on shorts at the moment as I'm trying to get comfortable with talking on camera, unscripted and sharing my ideas in a concise way.

I learned, you, do you, post what you love, and have fun, views, subs, will happen when they are meant too. I use to stress so much over my content whether is was good or not, etc. Then I got to the point and was like why stress over it, it's not getting me anywhere. Now I post what I love, and I go with the flow.
I can ALWAYS come to your channel for inspiration! I was starting to feel some type of way about being a TH-camr and you just reconfirmed for me that I CAN DO THIS, because I already am!! This was such good advice! I have only recently started taking youtube seriously. My main focus right now is improving my video quality and making my videos less boring! Also trying to balance youtube with work and my other social platforms! Actually come to the realisation I need to focus on less! I'm not focusing on shorts at the moment as I'm trying to get comfortable with talking on camera, unscripted and sharing my ideas in a concise way.
Same! Fining youtube work balance is so hard. I just started making shorts too and it’s definitely worth a try. I just took a funny clip from my video and turned it into a short. Anyways good luck! I just subscribed

I think I first came across one of your videos a couple of years ago but never really paid attention ( Now I know it's because I wasn't ready) . Fast forward to now, 9 months knee deep into producing a consistent audio podcast on Spotifyand Apple. I am ready to fully plunge into the TH-cam world as well and the first account I thought to look up for tips was you! Its interesting because I have taken a look at some of your recent videos and we seem to have a similar theme ( focus on personal development, mindset and growth). When I feel like I need a lil motivation I always come back to Bria’s videos. I love that she’s realistic about everything & seeing her journey gives me that extra push when I get in my head. It’s amazing how you made this video right on time. I just made all my videos private. I didn’t complete a series I had started last year and it was the last time I posted. I want to change my content but I also don’t want to niche. You literally hit on all the things that frustrated me or that has hindered me with my channel. I get inspired when I watch videos like this, but you truly inspired me today to keep going into not stop. I understand that it takes time and I don’t want overnight success I want to build a community that actually cares about me and what I post even though most of the things that I post are more trendy I still want to be able to provide value to my community
Thanks for the advice. I'm getting ready to start a TH-cam channel, and I felt intimidated by parts of the process. For example, I'm nervous about editing. You're right, Bria. I have to believe in myself and not fall into the victim mindset.

You're giving really good tips when I got more intentional and started treating my channel like a job it really started growing! I like being an individual and doing my own thing. My channel is decor and I hate when everyone has the same decor or do their tablescapes with matching place settings. Thank you for saying don't measure your success by the numbers because I do mine because I love creating beautiful home decor DIYS and making my apartment a comfortable place I love.
