- This crazy roller coaster that fits on a trailer is located at Little Amerricka in Wisconsin. Swiss Toboggan POV, 4K Ultra HD On Ride. It's one the wildest-looking rides I've ever seen, and it rides just as weird as it looks, and is quite scary on the way up. The Swiss Toboggan roller coaster starts off with a vertical lift up a manhole-sized tube that the vehicle sneaks right into, barely fitting. Its restraints lie on your chest as the roof closes on you, and then you begin the ascent.
On the way down you spiral down with a controlled electric brake so you don't gain too much speed. Then you need to watch your head on the metal roof of the vehicle as you head down a strong airtime moment and some wild-mouse turns. #Wisconsin #RollerCoaster #Ride #Crazy #AmusementPark #LittleAmerricka

My dad and I rode this nonstop all through the 90s when I was little in Ocean City Maryland at Trimpers Rides, sadly he passed away last October so thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video and bringing back good memories.
This was my favorite ride as a kid. It’s one of the few really fond memories I have with my father.

Thanks for this, we had this ride at the Butler Fair in Prospect, PA, it was called the Swiss Chalet. This was the first ride of its type that I'd ever been on, I must have been about 4 or 5.
Been on 3 of these: Trimpers Rides, Lakemont Park, & a local carnival way back in the 80s. Also got to look at the SBNO one at Conneaut Lake Park a few years ago. Funniest thing is that Hersheypark used to have 2 of these sitting side by side. It was before my time though.
Rode the one at CLP. When you exited the spiral and went down the dip I slammed my head against the ceiling.

I rode one at my local county fair back in the late 80s. So fun and scary as a 11/12 year old! 😂
I miss the carnivals I would attend in the 70s they all would have this, Roll o Plane,Rock O Plane ,Gas powered Loop O Plane, Chance SkyDiver, Roundup,Octopus or Monster,Zipper,Tilt o Whirl,Scrambler,, especially loved the gas powered rides.
My dad was a carney back in the 60's when they had the gas powered drive. They were put together piece by piece & the parts were really heavy. You build some muscles working a carnival back then lol.

Rode one of these at Canton Libertyfest in Michigan back in 2014 maybe 2015. The vertical lift hill is the best part!

I grew-up going to Adventureland in East Famingdale NY at least once a year from ages 6-11 and I always rode this ride at least once, sometimes twice. I think they took it out in like 1979, which was a year after I had last gone on it. Even though I was kind of smallish at age 11 I would never fail to bump my head on the inside of the top on those damn bumps at the end. Owww. LOL.

Maybe if they made it a little longer before the small drop then it would be smoother. Same with the final turn needing to be a bank turn to not cause momentum to stop so suddenly. They could easily improve these
There was a version of this ride at the old Familyland park in Wisconsin Dells in the 1970s.
Yes, you hated that drop just as much as I... I rode the ones at Hershey Park. They should have moved and kept them active.
Went on one in Mexico City at 11 y/o. It hurt my back then, wouldn't even try now. It was nowhere near as well maintained as this one either, but was the same ride

The first time I got on it, it felt like I was going to fall but after I got to the top I was much happier

Me and my cousin once got stuck in that up part lol. Don’t worry, we were fine and we got out in a few minutes. Also, before we started it, I said “imagine we get stuck on the up part”
