    The color doesn’t look too light whatsoever. I think people often go too dark and are afraid to accept their actual skin tone. Looks great. My complexion is very similar.

      I fully agree, I'm unsure if its simply the trend for most to desire to be tan but often people ought to embrace their natural skin as...it matches their true skin tone the most. You can always add more through bronzer/blush, etc. but its rather unfortunate how many presume that they ought to go typically shades darker than they truly are and then are surprised/disappointed when it doesn't suit them. I think your comment is a wonderful reminder of this
      By the way, your icon by the way looks stunning so you're doing something right with your skincare/makeup application

    Love the look!! From what I understand, pilling is caused by mixing a water-based product with an oil-based (or silicone-based) product. It could be that the primer has silicone/dimethicone in it and the foundation is water-based, or vice-versa. (I'm guessing the foundation is the watery one in this case, since it oxidized that quickly, but I'm not a professional, so...🤷🏻‍♀️ Haha.) Anyway, thanks for the review! 🥰

    • @nee_username871
      @nee_username871 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      You're correct. I looked up the ingredients, and the primer claims to be water-based but has dimethicone in it, while the foundation is water-based, with no silicones listed in the ingredients.

    Thank you for this! I always tend to go a shade lighter due to oxidation. I wear Oslo in Nars, but find it is a little on the light side. I am cool toned but basically have your skin tone. You helped a lot with your review regarding this because I was leaning towards Mont Blanc. All Nars oxidize one me as well. I was wondering if you can do a review on the Dior skin tint foundations? I have either worn Dior or Nars foundations and have tried every other foundation on the market and keep coming back to Dior or Nars. I'd love to see how they stack up against each other. Thanks!

    $49 is more than Estee Lauder Double Wear… I’ve had cystic acne since I was 15 and I’ve used double wear since I was 20 (I’m 38 now). It’s the only foundation that don’t cause further issues and at the same time covers scars and imperfections, and lasts all day.
    I doubt this NARS one would be for someone with skin like mine. It doesn’t look like it’s very good coverage. It looks more like a CC cream.

    I don’t understand why you would use a primer with a foundation that has skincare in it. Primer is a barrier, it is suppose to prevent product from soaking into the skin. A foundation with skincare properties is meant to soak into your skin. Of course it’s going to ball up ….🤦🏻‍♀️. Sometimes I just don’t understand TH-cam.
