I think the reason for this is he already sang a lot of songs since this is a concert. His songs usually have lots of falsetto and high noted which are very tiring to the throat/vocal chords. You may notice that he has flats on some parts of the song but this is very common on singers. I think there are only a few singers in the world who can keep singing in the original style even after performing a lot of songs already on a concert.
