So i liked this guy for 6 years straight. I don't have to the guts to confess to him. Watched him have different girlfriends. Pero na-realize ko lang na sobrang lakas pala nung tama ko sa kanya nung nasaktan ako pagkatapos kong makita yung post nya sa ig with "someone special". This was 5 years ago. Me being a Nepali residing in India listening to this Philippines song. Epic.
I first heard this song, Pano, on facebook. Sa lyrics palang naalala ko na siya. I met him on ome, then we talked there for while and umabot na we exchange accounts on fb. We talked about random things. Day goes by, I fell for him. He was the “too good to be true” na sinasabi nila. He always listens to my kadaldalan. Even praised me for being smart, beautiful and for being lovely. He gave me the attention & attention that I keep on seeking from other people. And dumating ‘yong gabi na niligawan niya ako. The same night, I found out that he already have a girlfriend. Naka-set into a relationship status niya on fb. I confronted him and asked him if ano niya ‘yong babae, which is obviously girlfriend niya. And tama nga. I told him that we should stop the thing going on between the two of us. Her gf doesn't deserve any of this. And... I don’t deserve it too. Alam kong tama ang ginawa ko. Ako ‘yong naiwan sa ere. Wala naman akong pinagsisihan. It just hurts so fucking much. Pano naman ako? This song hurts like hell. I was just a normal university girl trying to survive college. Then I met this guy. We got close. He courted me. Things were going okay. He would cheer me up when I'm sad. He would listen to my stories and rants. He would always ask me how my day went. He would send me song covers. He would also give me assurance every time. I also did things to make him feel special and cared for. Each day, I was slowly becoming more sure of my feelings until I became sure that I already love him. I was just waiting for him to say it first. Until one day he told me he wasn't sure of his feelings and that we should stop what's going on between us. That shattered my heart into tiny little pieces. I didn't know what to do. I actually thought we were on the same page but unfortunately we weren't. @@weyjosh5213 i think it rly depends on the perspective of the guy, if he thinks na yung 4 yrs ay napunta sa wala then.. how unfortunate for him, but if he thinks the experience of being able to express what u feel towards the person u love is worth taking the risk for then that's fine too.
but u r right, we shouldn't settle for less. especially if it's the feelings that are involved. but if there's one thing i learned observing the ppl around me, it is that u cant rly control how u feel. sure u can fake it but it wont go away. the only thing u can truly control is how u act while having them. and i can say it's hard to not act on them.
so i think it's okay to give 100% effort, if that's what u feel like doing. keep in mind that it may be "high risk, high reward" but that wont always be the case.
so still, it's best if u initially prepare yourself before courting someone, make sure that u have a strong foundation sturdy enough to let u live without them. and by then u'll be okay with having none at all because u alone is enough. and it will be easier to move on.

This song really hits me hard, I never expected to fall in love with her. I invested all of my time admiring, caring, loving her. She showed me love and I thought she felt the same way I did to her, I made her my comfort person. We both valued our studies. She was a working student in our school and I even waited until 6:30pm where she was done for her shift, which I don't usually do to people where in I have strict parents, but yeah I waited for her so she could have someone on her side going home. It was the exact moment that I heard this song when I decided to tell her how I really felt, I told her; "I never expected that my feelings for you would grow eventually to the point where I can't go on about my day without thinking about you." which she replied; "I'm sorry but we're just not on the same page."
