Fun fact: there are 9 servants with on-demand 100% or higher batteries that are reusable and not locked behind some weird condition. Of these, 7 are tied to Arts servants, 2 are Buster, and none are Quick.

@@goldhm1394 pity only procs once. So if she is particularly unlucky on that day. Its 100% possible that she gets np1 and the rest are ssr spooks.
This is why FGO has the worst pity among all gacha games imo.

Kingprotea is my main Servant, and arguably no other Servant fears buff removal more than KP.
Rolling her just for one effect on her 3rd skill is an interesting choice especially when welfare nightingale exists

@@Flygoniaks she shows up in welfare leaf shop, and I can probably count on one hand the number of challenge quests that had buff removal in the past year on JP
anyway no one's stopping you from rolling for a skill effect, i just said that its an interesting choice
@@TC127_ Actually, I just checked - Welfare Nightingale was only added to the leaf shop in JP during *part 6* of the "evocation festival" on JP, which was in November 2023. That means I'll still have to wait over a year before I can actually get her.
Thankfully, Archetype: Earth kinda just fell into my lap - I legitimately got her off of a paid SQ daily summon.

If you had 3 appends, np5 + bond 15 gets you to level 118.

I got cocky and Arcueid punished me for it. I was at NP4 after only roughly 600 quartz and feeling good, thinking this would be the easiest NP5 ever. Then that last copy took another 700 or so to come; it stung quite a bit.

My 2k SQ and 200+ tickets don't care, they're going all in on getting 6 copies of Arcueid.
The original Tsukihime VN was my entryway into VNs and I still like Arcueid very much to this day, so I refuse to settle for anything less.
ADD: In case anyone cares, I ultimately went into the banner with 3k SQ and 222 tickets, got her to NP 6 (plus a Drake spook), went down to no tickets and ~1680 SQ

1) 10 from base append + use all 3 koyan skills, then switch in second oberon, use 20% on both oberon -> 10 + 50 + 20 + 20
2) her own charge
3) use all oberon skills 50+50

Tsukihime was the one who started me into the Nasuverse. I always loved Arcueid, and I remember obsessing myself over her when I was younger. Screw viability, meta or whatever else. I am getting her, whatever the cost.

The funny thing about Arc is that her use cases have actually leaned away from Single Core farming and towards Multi Core.
Tez fron LB7 counts for her Living Human NP charge so most setups run them together so that you can basically play around with any CEs and run an Oberon to deal with the final wave.
Makes 90+ farming much easier, especially in high Np levels, but 90++ id just such a different beast that its better to use Trait focused servants and STs for them even with Max investment high NP level in AOE units(iirc Plushie's example for this was his Ibuki Zerker NP5 not killing the 90++ final wave)
Dual core is better than single core for farming anyway, imo.
But I'm still skipping because I have 0 interest in Arc.
Then you'll find weirdos who will rant that np1 kuku can still be used to 3t farm 90++

i have a np5 bond15 lv120 2kfou but i don't have a mlb black grail so i will tell you about how she does in this conditions.
she can farm most of the 90++ content with some dificulty but it's possible, she also can "farm" the 90* node with the 1,2m Helena Blavatsky(the order of the skills is strange with a 50% ce, double koyan and oberon, it was the only team i could think with my resources)
she hits like a wet noodle if the enemy is not chaotic and her performance in multicore is only good for lvl90 content or below
she is surely a good character but i regret rolling for her a lot since i don't care about np5 waifus, i thought she was gonna destroy every content in the game but she is only a cute buster looper and that is it

If you’re getting Arcueid I don’t it’s for gameplay reasons or at least I’m not. I’m getting her because she’s best Vamp. I do think all Arcueid needs to be a truly elite servant though is if she gets an NP upgrade because it’s her NP damage that needs to become stronger not necessarily her skills.
managed to get NP3 on her first banner on JP, from my experience using her, NP3 lv120 is able to 3T farm almost any non 90++ node using double koyan + S.Ibuki system, as well as many challenge quests (mainly the servant rush ones, or if there is an event damage CE) and I don't think the last 2 NP levels really increase the number of nodes she can 3T. I think NP3 is the sweet spot as this gives you enough coins to 120 her.
On a side node, since the first banner I have saved up enough SQ to get the last 2 copies whenever she finally gets a rerun (2 years and counting :v)

For all the degen shenanigans you can do with Arc farming, I think you glossed over the biggest one: Multicore enabling. Granted that would probably take its own video, and at this point on JP Tonelico is the reigning champ of turning the jankist-looking setups into engines of god. But considering how much weight Arc pulls in enabling multicore 90++ nodes, it's probably worth a mention.
Plus, she lets Bazett farm. How great is that?
Seems the general verdict is that if you're already committed to Melusine or similar candidates, you don't need Arcueid. Guess it does defeat the point of an omni-attacker if you go balls deep into multiples.
There’s also a certain LB7 servant who is much better for that role. I don’t think Arcueid was designed though to be a perfect Omni attacker though. She was designed be be a good farmer with a lot of utility and imo a good support to have for multi core farming teams that don’t operate in just double Koyanskaya plus Oberon.

Personally, I rolled for her just because she is a Mooncancer and I don't have any other Mooncancer other than my grailed welfare BB. With her joining my team, now I have SSR for every class in the game lol. Now in case I need Mooncancer to counter a strong Avengers boss, I can have more options. For general farming, I'll just use my beloved NP3 Lv120. Morgan lol.

by her banner, I'll have enough f2p sqs saved up to hit guaranteed pity (if I'm very unlucky). I'm a bigger fan of non-Fate Nasu works so she was instantly on my high priority list just for her as a character

Me have her on NP2... and BOY due to the "Noise" around Anniversary, that 5th Append Skill "Thing" I'm sure EVERYONE is now just gonna wait for the 5th append skill to unlock and she with double Koyan(Light)+Oberon is "BEST" farming team
Should be mentioned that she can bg loop with double oberon and koyan. Base append + her battery =110 + double oberon(140) + koyan(50) = 300 exactly.

Or just use melusine in a normal set up. She hits harder at lower NP levels against Neutral.
The 7th anniversary banner is where I finally caved and made a JP account. With minimal whaling, I got Koyan off the GSSR and 1 copy of Arcueid.
Arc plus double Koyan Atlas absolutely CARRIED me through the story. I think her damage fell off over time so I might've been using some other teams later on, but I didn't run into a wall until the Demeter fight. Seriously.
Took me 900 quarts, but NP 5 has been acquired.
Started the Nasuverse with Tsukihime a long time ago, so I’m definitely aiming for Arcueid! NP3 is my goal, but if she shows up at NP5, so be it. Thanks for the guide as always, Fino!
If you want her for braindead farming NP2 lvl 100 should be enough for most content. She worked for me really well in some aoe boss fights since chaotic is very common, against zerks or avengers she could do single target grade damage if their alignment is right. For a low investment farmer better wait till summer event for Ibuki.
NP2-3 for Multicore is perfectly fine, just run her with some of the top ones like Tez and you are going to ahve a lot of fun with her

Today, I spent all my saved sq which was almost 400 and 30 tickets and got to NP5 her! I got her to max ascention! I'm F2P and she is my first 5* who I NP5! Now, I wanna save for Vritra banner

I already have 1830 sq saved up for her and itll probably be 1900 before anni, not counting the anni sq. If I don't get np5 i might just kms
I'm still annoyed that Arc hasn't gotten any story relevance or events (yet, anyway). Not because I care about her, but because she's apparently fairly high on the Nasuverse Power Scale and I wanted to see her fight you-know-what in Lostbelt 7.

Nasu's comments about her as a Servant can be interpreted as having a major story role at some point that would not apply to LB7, so that me in the works... eventually.

I "accidentally" got her to NP3, so that and level 100 will have to be "good enough" for me. I just hope I didn't jeopardize my Summer 7 rolls too much.
Arcueid 120 NP5 is worth it for me on JP, as I've had her NP5 for almost 2 years, been almost a whole year since i got her 6th copy from GSSR. That was the only copy I spent money on lmao
you could use black grail this way:
append skill 2 (lvl1) so its 10% starting np
konyan skills and buff
swap one konyan for an oberon
use both oberon's first skill so its 10% + 50 + 40 (and you get the most out of the supports at wave 1 and 2)
use arcueid skill 2 on wave 2
use the rest of the skills of both oberon in wave 3
Getting her to NP 5 was fun. All in all I think i used about 300 quartz, from the anni update. I didn't plan for her in the first place, i tried my luck then she just suddenly showed up in two consecutive 1x pulls, then showed up 2 multi's after that. I was satisfied since she was my first np3 in my account. but on the last day, as tribute for the luck i had for her, I decided to dump 100 more sq, she appeared back to back 😭😭
the rest was just the excruciating effort to get her to 120. She's fun to play tbh and can clear pretty much any content with her damage. After her, I got lady avalon within a single multi and douman within 100 sq. I hope y'all get what you want this summer!

I mean...you can also run double Oberon and any 50% charger if you have her apend battery unlocked...w1 just have the the 50% charger charge Arcueid, swap the charger for the second Oberon and just use his 1st skill of 1st and second Oberon...you have 100% charge with any CE at that point...w2 just use the 100% Arcueid charge and W3 double Oberon 50% charge and his buster up...the damage is insane if you are running Arcueid with BBG...
She's also good if you dont have Oberon or Koyan...you can Double Arcueid + any 50% charger. You do need her append starting charge maxed out tho...
Borrow a friends Arcueid for w1, w2 use that friends Arcueid third skill for 30% charge to your own Arc, andnthen another 50 from the charger. W3 just use 100% charge and there's your 3 turn and CE any Mystic code run
One tip for setups, Arcueid with mana loading unlocked can do a full loop with an oberon/Koyalight/oberon setup.

NP2 is already enough for me. NP1 is still fine. I already have a set amount of SQs to waste on her. I wont go all out because "SUMMER".

The thought occurred to me: once summer Chloe comes out on NA she'll be able to black grail loop on 3/x/x nodes with double Koyan light and Oberon
Had a wild run going for arcueid. Pulled her first multi, decided to run a few tickets, ticket 1 lakshmibai, ticket 2 arcueid, ticket 3 arcueid. Ticket 4 Lancelot saber ticket 5 fodder ce, multi 2 arcueid, multi 3 nemo and arcueid, multi 4 was np5 arcueid. This was the most insane run I’ve ever had on fgo, I hope whoever summoned for her and whoever summons for her can get her. All the best
saved up for just under a year, had 1200 quarts, got 6 copies with 500sq left. im happy lmao
I haven't read Tsukihime so I don't care enough about Arcuied to roll for her. I'm also saving for Koyanskaya's banner in December anyway.

She is cool gameplaywise she deals decent damage when she hits her niche along with the proper supports but there are better servants in the future who can do better on the only field she really excels at... Farming.
I think everyone can live with the fact that they missed getting the 3 sq prize you get for max ascending her by not spending their precious sq reserves on a character they barely even care about 😂

I have only bought maybe 7 packs this year in anticipation for this banner. I have 15+ grails, 5000+ 5* embers, 600M+ QP, 50 Gold Fous of each, and 20 lores. Let's do this! Not to mention, I will get 800-900 SQ for having my entire Chaldea leveled, that was enough for me to NP5 Morgan and Melusine each last year so I hope it works out that way for Arcueid.

I ended up with NP5 Melusine since I splurged a few packs after getting lucky, same with Morgan too, and gameplay wise I think I won't need Arcueid.
I'll just drop the "but" right here. I really like her in Tsukihime and Melty Blood, but she's also not a MUST roll for waifu reasons or the like.
Now, do I hold strong for 666 Nero, maybe Summer Morgan? Will I save up for any and all iterations of Kiara and/or Kama? (or blow open the bank while they are already here, oh god) Will I meta slave and go for Summer Skadi or Avalon?
Man, standing here, I realize how evil gacha is by design. Or rather, I knew it walking in, but chose this hell since it had the nicest story and the most likeable characters for me.
I think this is a good video to showcase what it takes for Arcueid to really bring it home, but man is it a bad time to realize the saving should have started 2 years ago.
