- We started the Bihar tour from Patna, After visiting Rajgir we travelled to Gaya and then we returned back to Patna.
This is a 4 day tour and this episode is about last day of our Bihar tour.
Following are the places we visited and the food we explored during this journey from Gaya to Patna.
Date of Journey - 9th feb 2023.
Vishnupad Temple - We started our day visiting an ancient temple, near the banks of Phalgu river. Which is a popular place for Hindu in India where rituals (Pind daan) related to the departed soul takes place to attain moksha.

Dhanarua - This place has 30 to 40 shops that sell Lai laddu, Location distance 75 km from Gaya. Lai ka laddu is famous in Gaya but more famous in Dhanarua.
Pot Belly - This restaurant is located in Bihar Museum in patna. we wanted to try Bihar delicacies which I could not try during this tour. We had Litti Chokha - Rs 340.
Food at this restaurant was good but later on i was told that there are many other restaurants in Patna make Batti chokha as this one is expensive but taste was good.
Takhat Sri harimandir Ji (Patna Sahib) - It is one of the 5 Takhat for Sikhs, This is where Guru Gobind Singh ji was born.
We wanted to visit the Gurudwara where Guru Gobind Singh ji has spent his childhood but because of paucity of time we could not go inside the Gurudwara.
I will travel again to patna sometime in future and visit other destinations again and explore local food.

Valmiki Nagar Tiger Reserve is another very beautiful place in Bihar. You can see Sivalik Range and crystal clear river along with Tiger Reserve. Bihar government is developing this place .A beautiful convention center is underconstruction.Many water sports like parasailing, kakaying etc are attraction of Amvaman lake .

There is lot of Muslim history in bihar and patna , maner sharif is important tourist site but Harish bali has not covered bihar or any muslim site may be because he and his team is racist

Bihar museum is of international standard. It got many international awards also .Vishnupad temple needs Varanasi like corridor as it is one of the sacred temple in India.You have not justified Bihar visit because you kept it very short.Please visit again and explore this circuit along with Valmiki nagar Tiger reserve and Kaimur &Rohtas

Bihar is culturally so intrinsic , has some of the very significant places for all the dharmic tradtitions....it deserves to be an important cultural center... hope the future government is able to turn back time to its ancient glorious days and give us Bharatiyas back the experience of the magnificent Patliputra of Magadh empire...

I felt overwhelmed to watch Sri Patna Sahib Gurudwara, the Sikh community always takes great care of their pilgrim places, super neat and clean and they offer free langar 24 hours a day, that's an amazing act of humanity and kindness. Litti Chokha is a cult dish from Bihar, the taste is amazing and good for health as well. Bihar has always been criticized for poverty and filthy politics. But the people of Bihar have changed the negative thinkers' mindset. Bihar needs a boost to shine like never before. I too want to visit Patna, Nalanda, Gaya. I have a special feeling for Nalanda University which was a huge knowledge center of ancient India.

Do visit Bihar .Harish Ji has missed some of very important place in his trip .If you come to Patna please visit Bihar Museum which is of International standard .You can visit Sabhyata Duar,Buddha Smriti park .While visiting Nalanda don't forget to visit Pawapuri, Mahparinirvan place of Mahavihara Jain ,Vishwa Shanti Stupa ,Ghora Katora ,Pandu Pokhar, Venu Van in Rajgir .Barabar and Nagarjuna caves are on the way between Rajgir and Gaya .These are the oldest manmade caves in the world

Gaya has "ShaktiPeeth" and Mountains like "Ram Shila Pahad" "Pret Shila Pahad" and great, real street food, on streets. "Gaya," "Bodh Gaya", "Rajgir", "Nalanda", "Pawapuri" "Barabar Pahad", "Lomash Rishi Cave" if you want to cover them all it will make several episodes. During Pitra-Paksha large number pilgrims come to Gaya. Last rites of the people who died in bad way (murder, accident etc) completed on Pret Shila Pahad if you visit there some "Pret" might find you attractive and attach itself to you. GoodLuck 😀

One week is enough only for magadh region. Sir clearly ignored maithil and bhojpur region. He missed birthplace of maa sita, kaimur mountain, champaran tiger reserve, krishnanagar tea farming and many more things
