Am I the only one that thought this video was super cute? I've watched it three times just cause the music and how it's formatted lol. I also intend on trying this recipe as I tried cafe de olla once in rosarito at this small restaurant. It was the best coffee I ever had in my life. I hope this comes out similar to it!
Actually wanted to see how to make the coffee. But I was more intrigued with the creativeness of the video. With labels on the containers and the amounts. It moved quickly and simply. And yes in every way I thought it was wonderful. Well done!
Wait!!!! I can’t even pay attention to the the recipe yet!…. You WIN for best- most creative introduction to showcase ingredients needed! WOW!!! Love the colors (Ese es México), the music, the background, your blouse & nails & bracelet (santos, esqueletos o lotería? Can’t tell but I wanna know 😂)! Love your kitchen accessories! I can almost smell the coffee all the way over here 😋 Ok now I’ll watch it again so I could pay attention to the recipe itself! Thanks for this inspirational video 🥰
One of the best videos I've seen on Mexican cooking... the music, the process of actually making the coffee, the manner in which you labeled the product and how much to use, and your charm and technique as you completed the process. Excellent, happy to be a subscriber.
I agree it is so super cute that I had to watch it a few times. I love they way the recipes are displayed with the perfect music. I just subscribed and hope to see more like this.
What a beautiful video! My teen daugher and I are having fun learning about coffee around the world for social studies homeschooling and we realy enjoyed your video. We are going to make this recipe tomorrow.
I had to stop and pause the video at 0:31 seconds but for once I naturally just wanted to give this amazing video a like! So cute and just therapeutic. God vibes, I love it! 👏🏽 great work!
Because just like me, we are barely finding out about Cafe de olla😅 it's sooooo delicious. They also don't serve here in California. Lots of Mexican and Latino restaurants but hardly any of the serve Cafe de Olla 😢
Did Vince Gilligan direct this video, cause it’s really well put together, especially for an eight year old video. You must have had a really good camera at the time, cause the colors and clarity and bokeh are all superb. I myself hate coffee, but if I ever have guest I’ll make them this recipe.
Where did you get your pitcher and the little blue bowls from? Love the video! Think I will make this for Christmas with my sisters when we get all the families together.
I agree this is a very creative video. My only complaint is that she’s using a French pot not a traditional Mexican ollá and that is kind of the whole point of this drink.
Hola! Having discovered CAFE DE LA OLLA last night, tell me please what brand of already prepared cafe de la olla have you found to be the best without making it from scratch? I'm on a desperate search to find it! Thank you!
+ingrid you can read a little more about my Cafe de Olla on my blog: www.muybuenocookbook.com/2013/08/cafe-de-olla-video-le-creuset-giveaway/ I usually purchase Mexican coffee when in Mexico, but I'm positive your favorite freshly ground dark roasted coffee would work too.
Is that instant coffee? Can someone write the instructions on how to make it and how much of what to add so I can send it out to people who would love to try it.
So some of the recipes don't use pilonsillo. Isn't it too sweet this way? We tend to have a lot of low sugar or sugar free things. Any suggestions? Thank you
Haydee Cardenas Traditional recipee comes with piloncillo, you can make it without the piloncillo and add brown sugar to your cup or Stevia if you prefer
Now that's u make coffee for everybody at home not just u lol . Oh quey so u use piloncillo And canela pero que esa otra cosa que let pone como se llama

+MrBiggieJay I hope you are not the only one. Enjoy it and your cafe de olla.
I know! After seeing this video, I ordered from le creuset 🤦🏻
Actually wanted to see how to make the coffee. But I was more intrigued with the creativeness of the video. With labels on the containers and the amounts. It moved quickly and simply. And yes in every way I thought it was wonderful. Well done!

@@levistrudel9319 Haha! I’m about to do the same 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏼♂️

+RubyZap so happy to hear that. YUM!
¡Me has dejado anonadada!…..
What a fantastic video!! You can almost sense the delicious aroma of a café de olla being prepared in a grandmother’s kitchen.
I added more water (2 cups) and coffee 👌 because it was too sweet with the original recipe. Thank you for the video!
Wish I read this sooner.
It was way too sweet and “watery”. Tasted like sweet sweet water
Cafe de Olla is excellent! And also Champurrado as well! ❤️🥰
I agree it is so super cute that I had to watch it a few times. I love they way the recipes are displayed with the perfect music. I just subscribed and hope to see more like this.

So Magical and Artistic! Very well done!
+Kelly Williamson thank you!
lol for a second i thought eggs were going to be added
LOL! That would not have been good.
Ha ha ha!
They do that on Vietnamese coffee.
😂
So did I 😆 🤣
It's like my morning routine was recorded for everyone to see. Great video you got my subscription.
I really enjoyed your video; very creative! Now, to try the recipe! :)
Really cute video and easy to make! I would personally halve the amount of sugar though if you don't like coffee too sweet :)
This video is fantastic! Beautifully made
I had to stop and pause the video at 0:31 seconds but for once I naturally just wanted to give this amazing video a like! So cute and just therapeutic. God vibes, I love it! 👏🏽 great work!
How does this not have more views?
Because just like me, we are barely finding out about Cafe de olla😅 it's sooooo delicious. They also don't serve here in California. Lots of Mexican and Latino restaurants but hardly any of the serve Cafe de Olla 😢

I am going to try the recipe tonight! do you recommend a specific brand/flavor of coffee ground? thank u ♡
Very cute video. Can you substitute instant coffee?
Did Vince Gilligan direct this video, cause it’s really well put together, especially for an eight year old video. You must have had a really good camera at the time, cause the colors and clarity and bokeh are all superb. I myself hate coffee, but if I ever have guest I’ll make them this recipe.
Great presentation looks good, I will try and make it in a few min. thank you for the video.

I recommend a dark roasted Mexican coffee ;-)
Hermosos trastes .

I bought grind coffee from Mexico but it’s grounded like flour is it for expresso or can I cook it in my coffee machine
Beautiful video!
Where did you get your pitcher and the little blue bowls from? Love the video! Think I will make this for Christmas with my sisters when we get all the families together.
Buenisimo video!!!! ;)
+Jorge Alberto muy bien. Gracias. Salud!
Where did you buy the pot?
I agree this is a very creative video. My only complaint is that she’s using a French pot not a traditional Mexican ollá and that is kind of the whole point of this drink.
Me encanto tu vídeo. Felicidades
carlos carmona mil gracias!

Receta: www.muybuenocookbook.com/2013/08/cafe-de-olla-video-le-creuset-giveaway/
Did she ever add coffee?
Eggs sunny side up without bacon is like ... a man without belly :D
And without grits (with butter and salt) - it's like a BBQ pit ran by anyone other than a big fat black man in bib overalls.
What is that wooden in the cupboard :pilonc ilo
Beautiful
Video was cute . I did however make this recipe but, it didn’t taste like I thought it would. 🤔
What is the first ingredient??

+ingrid All cafe de olla is made from scratch, if you're ever lucky to find one that isn't, it won't be worth your money.
What brand of ground coffee do you recommend in the US?
949surferdude any medium roast preferably any Mexican medium ground coffee ,accessible to you
Woooh!! OMG!! Thanks for the video :-D

2 clove. ? What is that..
Yay!!!
👍🏻👍🏻
Que Elegante y fina señorita! Wow! I’m impressed! 🌹🌹
I would have had that cafe with some pan dulce or at least had some tortillas with those eggs
I'm Mexican but I never know it existed😢
Now that's u make coffee for everybody at home not just u lol . Oh quey so u use piloncillo And canela pero que esa otra cosa que let pone como se llama
Piloncillo = sugar mollases,.
