Hi.. i have a question .. if eNodeB slave supports only 1588V2 profile whereas master support G.8265.1 frequency profile and we want to achieve only frequency sync to be established between Master & slave ( not Time & Phase). will there be a problem regarding signalling message ( non time stamp message)..because G.8265.1 says that slave should wait min 60 secs after 3 consecutive non-replied signaling message rate by Master..whereas i couldnt find any specification on singling msg rate in 1588V2 profile. and secondly what should be default signaling rate in e-NodeB which is having 1588V2 profile supported. i can send detailed inquiry on mail if not clear here. Thanks in Advance!!
Why do messages need to be distinguished as event vs. general? This distinction seems to have no particular significance. I guess this is supposed to be explained in a later video??
allyourcode The timing of only some messages is critical. For other messages it is not important to know when exactly they were transmitted or when they reach their destination. Messages whose timing is critical are called event messages. All others are general messages.
Your playlist was so on point and easy to understand. Thank you. Keep posting :)
Finally I've understood the PTP design. Thanks for your time, man!
Thanks a lot for the videos!!!!! It was helpfull to me and give me the basic understanding of PTP I need.
Great video! much appreciated
thanks a lot, perfect way of explanation!
It's very helpful. Thank you.
Very good. Thank you!
