33:00 When they show the "Mineral Ice" container up close, it almost looks like it says "Funeral Ice"(?)--the first letter is apparently supposed to be an "M", but it looks kind of weird to me.

11:56 $499 in 1987 could get you a 25" TV with maybe 36 channels. In 2021 you can get a 50" with availability of nearly any movie or TV show from past 100 years, including this video.

9:30 Duracell battery ad--"best if installed by Dec. '90". Hmm, I guess I'd better throw mine away then (or recycle them), LOL

37:49 I remember those guys, Vince and Larry. They had a brief sitcom and a toy line, that lasted into the early 90's.

I like that technical difficulties bumper. I'd like that as a 10 hr loop and fall asleep to the white noise.

3:10 A 27-inch TV for $570 (?!?) Imagine how much that would be in today's dollars...

I remember copies of The New Yorker laying around the common areas of my grandmother’s retirement home back in the 90s. I never remember seeing a copy anyplace else. I remember an episode of the Simpsons where Marge says they got a rejection letter when trying to subscribe to it.

23:08 I'd forgotten all about the Kiplinger Report (or, the "privately circulated" Kiplinger Washington Letter). At the time, there were lots of magazines with similar content (as shown in this ad), the names of some of which ring a bell (Fortune, BusinessWeek, etc.), and some of those might still be in circulation for all I know. Of course, nowadays similar information is almost certainly available from various websites.

34:35 Anyone know who the woman in the "976-WAKE" ad was? ...Apparently, calling that phone # allowed you to set up a later "wakeup or reminder" call back to you at a designated time, to keep you from sleeping on the job, LOL

The crudely-drawn picture used there is funny, because if that's really how they "fix" their problems (just pulling nuts & bolts out of a TV camera), they're never going to get back on the air! ;)
