    Harare was indeed one of the best cities in Africa & it’s still one of the best cities in Africa. Many other African cities don’t even have the beautiful infrastructure that Harare has. Thanks

    Your taxi cab driver went to Tuskegee University. Well known University. He is very smart to enter that college years ago in Alabama and graduate during Jim crow laws. Much respect to him. During that time you had to be knowledgeable to survive during that time in the deep south.

    Harare and Johannesburg have a lot of old Architect skyscrapers but Johannesburg doesn't have a lot of wide streets like Harare. Harare have less people compare to Johannesburg and that's why Johannesburg is been destroyed like that. Great video of Harare. It is sad how we black Africans can't maintain infrastructure, because things r not working

      Johannesburg is now full of street hawkers and traders.They have taken over the pavements and pedestrian walkways.There is also a lot of garbage on the streets.

      What is jealousy ? Anyways saying old buildings don't mean I said bad buildings. Old and beautiful if your ears can hear also positive things. I've been excited to see Harare because of the history and the buildings. Sane to Johannesburg SA. That's why I'll say that everytime. Old and beautiful. The Taxi driver from Harare is sad himself about their conditions. I don't know their conditions I only know most of them were built long time ago. But they look beautiful to me 💁‍♀️💁‍♀️.

    @blessingkawisimuskwe8321 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    The way you are saying the word old to people it sounds Harare is the only city with old buildings yet most cities in Africa are colonial cities just like Nairobi. In uptown Harare most of the buildings are actually young, built after independence. Your tour guide was not the best person to take you around

    • @AfricanTeeTravels
      @AfricanTeeTravels  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I really looooved Harare. I think me saying old came out like bad ,but honestly I really loved it . Now in Johannesburg it's the same beautiful. I had to Google how a kenyan can move to Bulawayo coz it's beautiful

      @@AfricanTeeTravels It's so interesting how you like to patronize us with "i really looooved Harare.... bla bla bla" comments. I'm just so pissed at how your driver could so naive and not be able to read between the lines that you are actually trying to take a cheap dig at Harare. My friend, any student of architecture will be able to tell the period from which a building was built from. A 1940's building is distinctly different from ones you saying were built from the you are are saying are from the 1940's. Infact, one doesn't have to be a fundi in building styles and architecture to be able to place a building in its time line. Just the good old common sense could help, by just looking. Harare and Nairobi are very similar in layout and design, even the buildings have a lot of similarities, save for the new ones in Nairobi that were built in the 2000's. The whole point of your comments were really about how Nairobi has new buildings (and all that jazz) and Harare doesn't. You have brand spanking new building in Nairobi, good for you okay. But please don't try this "ohhh Harare has old, old buildings" song with us, not all of us are as naive as the old man who was driving you around.
