Nicole had red hair in season three because the actress had dyed it for another role and kept it. She is naturally blonde and when she returned in S4 the red had grown out.
Nicole seemed like a snobbish person to me. And bland- nothing to like about her as far as I can see. But I guess it would be a little funny if you could clearly see that this bubbly, chatty friend of your bf was so way into him, and all awkward around you because of it
Nicole (lawyer)was not even Luke's type. Two different personalities, with nothing in common. It never made sense when he asked her out. Then going on a cruise ,getting drunk ,then marrying. Not at all like Luke Danes. I just think they wrote him all wrong with this one. Even Rachel didn't fit. Anna and Lorelei were similar and I think they made sense. I suppose you could say the same thing about Rachel and Nicole ,and why they liked HIM. One didn't like being tied down,and the other one was a suit and would never live there. Especially not in the diner. Yes,they had a place in Litchfield . Case in point. Anyway, it's a just a fictional show, but he doesn't have to be written out of character.
I don’t like Nicole either. She wasn’t Luke’s type at all. I do think Rachael was his type. She had a similar personality like Lorelei. Anna I guess had a similar personality to her too but I also didn’t like Anna. Rachael was my favorite of the ex girlfriends
I suppose you are right about Lorelei being close to the same personality as Rachel. Except, I don't think she would have stayed in Stars Hollow. Rachel did know he was into Loralai and used that as the reason to leave, but she figured he was NEVER going to marry her( Rachel) anyway.. Anna was off her rocker . At first she was all controlling with April. Got all weird when April has her party at Luke's. Blaming Lorelai for actually being nice to her and her birthday friends. Wacko. I guess that's the best conflict they could come up with. The series was pretty well written for the most part, but Rory's boyfriends and her mother's choices about them were ridiculous.Whole other conversation. Team ... whoever, but when she always had an issue with Jess, it was typical Lorelai. She didn't have an issue with Dean being a cheater or Logan for that matter. Jess never slept with her and he gave her some solid advice. But ,hey, it's just an opinion here. She never saw a good side of him. I didn't like them for writing him as the supposedly BAD boy. Really. What were the other two? Angels? Hardly.
This is the epitome of how great Lauren Graham is as a actress and this is one of my favorite scenes.
