It has been a while since you posted this video, but I have a question as to whether it is the normal practice to wire a limit switch into a 12V circuit on the negative or positive line, or even if it makes a difference. I know the limit switch would operate either way, but is one better than the other, safer maybe?
Good information... thankyou for posting. Most of the Limit Switches I find are rated at 5amps. I wish to use this with an 18v cordless drill motor which (I think) pulls about 20-30amps. They would be in the Normally Open position. Are these 5amp switches too small for my application? Thankyou.
