What an inspiring lesson. The Acts two and four church is so appealing. I love that it is lived out in churches throughout history and pursued in our churches today. Thanks again for your hard work in producing these videos.

Yes. I also love communist's. Dean says communitarian because he's scared to actually be radical. Would Jesus teachings be best described as capitalist or communist if you have to pick between one of those choices? Would Jesus be best described as conservative or radical? Huh. Interesting

Albigenses, Waldensian, Anabaptist, diggers, Moravians, so many modern examples of communist followers of Jesus. These are not including the Pilgrim church or the pre Nicene church groups which were obviously communist in nature and actions, especially compared to modern "Anabaptist" conservative capitalist white supremacist culture loving anti communists

    Praise God!
So great to be reminded that there are more radically Godly ways to live! I want it with all my heart!
My wife and I have lived in community for all but year one of marriage and we met in community living before that.
We are planting a house church in Harrisburg PA and seek this kind of Christian community. Thank you for this timely and beautiful reminder of how things can be!

"it's right there in their statment of faith about the missions, and about how you should have an apostle that's leading missions" - Dean Taylor

I was very interested in your explanation of the Hutterites life style. Could you discuss the Bruderhof people. I visited their colony at Ohiopyle, Pa. and found them very warm and accepting of this stranger

Hi George. Like you, during my two visits to two different Bruderhofs, I found them to be very friendly and warm. Perhaps sometime we will discuss them, but at the present, we have no such plans. They have an active TH-cam channel that may be of interest to you.

I recently started attending a Mennonite church and would like to share some of your discussions with them but they have a filter on their phones and computers which disables TH-cam. Do you have videos in email format?.

Hi Steven. Many Mennonites who choose to not use TH-cam watch our videos and listen to our podcast through our Telegram group. Perhaps your Mennonite friends use Telegram and would be interested in following our work at t.me/anabaptistperspectives

Also, in the remote chance that your Mennonite friends use Facebook, you could point them to the videos we publish there which are exactly the same as the ones we publish here on TH-cam.

You spelled "college" wrong in the beginning of the video. Just letting you know, not a biggie

Thanks Caleb. That happened due to a glitch in our review process. Now I cringe every time I see it.

17:10 communitarians? I think he means communists? Don't be scared to call it like it is.

Perhaps we should define communism. If I understand him properly, he's speaking about Hutterites, other anabaptists, and others who radically follow the New Testament's teachings on economics. Such people don't necessarily, and probably usually do not, have Marx or Marxism or any other secular political theorist or theory as a motive.
I'm initially skeptical of your suggestion, but perhaps I should hear more about what you mean, if you are willing.
