Hi there, we are looking to import toy goods into the UK from Japan which will be mainly Figurines and Soft toys. The products are marked with the ST which is Japans safety standard for the sell of toys in Japan but I need to know if there safety standards are the same as the UKs requirements to be able to affix a CE marking. I'm not exactly smart and are just trying to get my head around all this and where I can look to ensure those safety measures have been met for a CE marking to be applied 😅
Great video… well explained! I just wonder if you know if it is necessary to have CE for kind of de-stressing toys for over 14? Like fake gamer control etc… again good video
Thank you! You are asking a good question. To be honest, I cannot classify a product like this arbitrarily, but it likely comes down to whether this toy is seen as "suitable for children in general" If this would be a Barbie doll, we could never claim that this is a "Barbie for 14+".
