Globalization as we know it is over. Good riddance. For decades the West thought that the world becoming more like itself was a god-given fact and a proof of the superiority of their social models. Well, this process is now over. The Global South is claiming its own space under various local arrangements. But that is not to say that the world won't grow closer together.
Today I have two colleagues from the Multipolar Peace Alliance with me. Professor Warwick Powell from Queensland University and Dr. Jeff Rich from the channel "Burning Archive".

As an Australia I have been shocked, but not surprised, by the apathy with which the Australian political system has responded to both the conflicts in Ukraine and Israel. Israel in particular has highlighted the lack of independent political thought that Australian governments have. We constantly hear the "we support Israel's right to self-defence" message the USA and others tout. But what we dont hear is a government with any moral courage which can say "Yes, you have a right to self defence but you dont have the right to destroy a people you dont like."
Recent years, the COVID era, wars in Ukraine and Israel, governments attacks on whistleblowers, and so forth have shown how weak the depth of political leadership the country has. There are no politicans or parties of character.

Great conversation. I have seen a couple of Dr. Rich's Burning Archive and I find them very good. Great thinker and intellectually honest person.
But Prof. Powell is a revelation. The man is not only intellectually honest and brilliant and factual, but incredibly creative and original in the ways he envisions the future. As someone who has some idea on network theory and the like, I fully agree with his analytical framework he employs to give form to the idea of a possible future international architecture.
To be clear, no intention to establish a competitive comparison between these two Australian intellectuals. I think we need both of them as we need any voice now willing to put an end to the current madness. It is just my personal opinion.
    Great post Pascal.

Can you imagine a sci-fi book from 40 years ago that focused on and perfectly described the US in Israel and Ukraine where the major diplomats and the ambassadors were almost all… related to the leaders of Israel and Ukraine through a specific historical background. You wouldn’t be able to get it published because you’d be accused of… something.

    *A long history of divide-and-rule/conquer.*
The people of the Greater Middle East, including the Levant (most of whom are Semites, and the followers of Abrahamic religions) have been divided and ruled over by outsiders for centuries. Because it is easier to divide people based on personal differences, than it is to unite them, based on what they have in common. Strategically ambiguous rulers make use of this, for own advantages. In the era of empires, first Rome/Constantinople, then during WW1 the seat of POWER playing these games changed to London/Paris (Sykes-Picot/Balfour Declaration/WW1), then after the 1950's as European colonialism's power decreased, starting around the time a bark by Washington DC in 1956 (Suez Crisis/War) showed who the new boss was, the role of divider was simply taken over by Washington DC (the entire ME was the playground during the Cold War).
Now the intention is simply to avoid unity in the ME, in order to "rule" over the dissent which is classical "divide and rule". Today, their leaders are ALL tools. Draw lines on the map without asking any of those affected. Endless wars, constant dissent. Divide and Rule. Oldest trick in the book...
Who wields the POWER? Who has had (in all historical cases in the ME/Levant) the GEOGRAPHICAL ADVANTAGE of being able to reach all the other little buck catchers (tools, and other Roman-era style instruments of POWER), but could not be reached itself, because of a geographical-, technological-, organizational-, military-, strategic-, political advantage at any given point of a historical timeline?
Same types of people and systems. Different times. Same games.
    -------------------------------------
The people of the Africa have been "divided and ruled" over by outsiders for centuries. Because it is easier to divide people based on personal differences, than it is to unite them, based on what they have in common. Strategically ambiguous rulers make use of this, for own advantages. In the era of empires, first Rome/Constantinople in North Africa, then during the era of Western imperialism the seat of POWER playing these games changed to the USA/Europe, then after the 1950's as European colonialism's power decreased, Africa was the "playground" during the Cold War. Moscow was taking on the role of arming the resistance.
Once the dividers have reached peak power for themselves, by simply drawing lines on the map without asking any of those affected (Congo Conference/1884) so the own systems of gain can siphon off wealth like a giant vacuum cleaner. The intention was simply to avoid unity in Africa, in order to "rule" over the dissent which is classical "divide and rule".
Today, all African dissenters, including some of Africa's own greedy corrupt leaders, are ALL tools. Endless wars, constant dissent.
Give them money, and they will dance for the dividers...
    Divide and Rule.
    Oldest trick in the book...
Four corners of the globe. Different rules. Same games.
    --------------------------------------
The people of the Americas (most of whom are Christians), including the USA, have been divided and ruled over by outsiders for centuries. Because it is easier to divide people based on personal differences, than it is to unite them, based on what they have in common. In the beginning stages of era of European Imperialism, first Spain and Portugal entered the Americas, employing the divide and rule technique of top-down power on the local systems (Aztecs/Incas), then after 1900 as European colonial powers' influence decreased, the role of divider was simply taken over by Washington DC. As the own power increased incrementally, the entire world became the playground after around 1900.
_Today, it is the globalists who employ imperialist tools to play divide and rule games on their neighbours._
*Forget "nukes". The "divide and rule/conquer"-strategy is the most powerful force on the planet, because it can be used invisibly in times of peace, AND in times of crisis and war equaly.*
Ever since the two-faced "snake" slithered down that tree of unity (fable), speaking out of both sides of the mouth (lies, deceit), human beings have fruitlessly warned and have continuously been warned, against "divisions" within a peaceful status quo. Such divisions create GAIN for OUTSIDERS (Eden as a "system" divided by lies and deceit).
Now the intention is simply to avoid unity in the Americas, in order to rule over the dissent which is classical divide and rule.
Endless wars on anything and everything from "drugs" to "terror", constant dissent with everything's a war war war...
    Insert levers of lies, mistrust...
Create favourites: favouritism, by granting access to the own POWER, to those who volunteer to act as proxies...
Point the systemic finger, everywhere else, by use of the own paid stooges of power...
    Divide and Rule.
    Oldest trick in the book...
*In February 1948, George F. Kennan's Policy Planning Staff said: "[W]e have about 50% of the world's wealth but only 6.3% of its population. ... Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity."* [Critical question: Who is "we"?]
And that is what they did.
And that is what you are fighting for.
America's friends and self-proclaimed default rivals in Europe are still being burnt to ensure this disparity continues, with a "pattern" of alignments which are beneficial to the own rule. Set up European and Eurasian nations (including the MENA region) against each other. It is how divide and rule is implemented. The imperialist playbook of Great Britain and the USA for more than 100 years. Read Halford Mackinder (Pivot of History, 1904) and Zbigniew Brzezinski (Grand Chessboard, 1997) regarding Eurasia for the template.
That is what empires have always done.
Create the default rival/enemy on their own marching routes.
It is usually the power most likely to succeed which is determined as the default rival/enemy.
Notice how, as soon as a rival starts mass-producing products high up in the value chain of capitalism, and starts vying for markets, and becomes successful, it immediately becomes the systemic rival, and is then geopolitically encircled by the greater empire. It happened around 1900, as Germany started building high-value products, and it happened around 2000, as China started moving away from building cheap toys and labor intensive kitchen appliances...
The games start on the home turf. The first victims are their own people, locked in the eternal struggle for wealth and personal gain which they have been deceived into thinking is "good", but which WILL be exploited by the snakes who deceive them in the divide and rule technique of power. Because ..."most of the great problems we face are caused by politicians creating solutions to problems they created in the first place." - Walter E. Williams
*War is a great "divider." It goes straight through the heads of millions and billions of people from the very top tiers, right down to the individual level. War divides alignments and alliances, goes straight through organizations, divides political parties, tears through families, and finally at the very bottom tier, goes straight through individual hearts and minds as individuals struggle with themselves.*

    Excellent content. Thank you gentleman.
One of the primary factors contributing to the downfall of the Western Empire is the decline of traditional media.
Pascal, your channel provides the last nail to their coffin.
The need for existing dumb-down media coverage and interpretation of political events (aka propaganda) delivered by hosts who are dumb blonde midwitts is over.
A significant portion of the American population demands accurate, intelligent content that reflects reality, not misleading 'fake news.' Neutrality and multipolarity can only be achieved after traditional media's demise.
Pascal, your channel facilitates the demise of legacy media and helps establish neutrality, multipolarity, and peace on Earth. Good riddance, indeed. Congratulations.

Jews as in a religious group? I can imagine the indigenous jews in palestine always understood the need for a relationship with their neighbors and other groups coexisting with them in the region. The migrants coming from the Western countries have, without a doubt, less in common with the Indigenous jews than arabs and jews (among others) that have lived side by side there for centuries

@@tamimq5895 Careful - be very very careful. It sails close to the edge of the racist argument that it's OK to question the right of Jews outside of what is Israel / Palestine to live in their homeland - but the same question is never asked of the Muslims who moved into the area after WW1 - because the British offered work and the possibility of Western education, medicine etc. Double standards. Let's not forget that over 21% of Israel's population is Arab speaking. How many Jews in Egypt ? - Jordan ? Lebanon ? Syria ? Iraq ? Iran? As always those who are quick to criticize Israel remain remarkably silent when the question is flipped.

Try to view it as follows. You wouldn’t have your chest sawn open and your heart removed and replaced when you are not suffering from your heart. When you are not in the thick of a situation it’s difficult to understand. However in hindsight many politicians that did terrible things change their hearts and minds about it after they left office and is removed from the situation. Herein lies many problems because we hand much too much power to politicians and also expect them to solve all problems in the world when they simply can’t.

Macron is definitely concerned about the Muslim population in France creating civil unrest.
However, to his credit, I think he has observed what is happening in Ukraine, and that the US has the luxury of pulling out.
Meanwhile, the EU imposed over a dozen tranches of sanctions on Russia, which has adversely affected their own economies.
I love the IS, but since the « unipolar moment », so to speak, we’ve merely had coups, attempted regime changes, wars and millions of people dead.
The supranational organisations formed since WW2 and even afterwards, are arcane, dysfunctional bureaucratic behemoths.
I commend d the PM of Japan, but appreciate some may bristle at the memories of Imperial Japan. I truly don’t think Japan wants to revive imperial aspirations. Rather, I think they are politely hinting to America, that they want an equal relationship.
It’s that, or more countries will turn their backs on the US, fearing being subjugated to the rapacious militarism of an empire in decline.
And shouldn’t all our relationships be equal?
The US can not stop the change in the world order. They can resist, with the needless and unacceptable shedding of a lot of blood, but it would be futile.
Also agree that framing relationships between nations as military allies is unhelpful. A multi-nodal world, with mutual respect and trade agreements in which we all benefit is preferable.
As an Australian, I’d be interested Pascal, when you have these guests on again, to hear their views on the recent Four Corners documentary programme about the Middle East. I felt we were ostensibly being primed for war with Iran, which is definitely not in our interests.
Being tethered militarily to the US is concerning for the aforementioned reasons.
In the current geopolitical environment, it is more likely to imperil, than benefit us.
    Interesting discussion, thank you.
