Yea, I feel like analysts always forget to mention or think about the value of these games between historic rivals. Baltimore or Pittsburgh are never going to sweep the division, simply because of how tough they play against each other
Nah I'm not going to let this notion Russell Wilson isn't good in the redzone fly. He's historically always been highly efficient in the RZ. He had 20 redzone TDs to 1 int in 2023. This is an Arthur Smith issue. It doesn't matter who's in at QB. The only strength Fields adds is his running ability and speed. That can be sparingly incorporated into the offense, but depending on his legs in the redzone isn't sustainable and it doesn't fix the overall issue. It's on Smith to figure it out with the play calling.
As a Steelers fan , I gotta tip my hat to the Browns . they came to play in the first half and punched us, just like we did the Ravens, in the mouth. TJ Watt who is depending on his speed rush was completely taken out off the game with the conditions (Not trying to find an excuse) and Myles Garret put his team on his back and dominated. As much as I always thought that Mike Tomlin was to conservative on 4th and short in the past , sometimes you have to punt on 4th down , especially when you can’t get yards in short yardage situations.

I think Justin Fields may be able to help the Steelers mix things up in the red zone, but I also think Wilson's red zone troubles have been way overblown. It's a 5 game sample size, and in one of those games he had two red zone TDs overturned for reasons beyond his control. He's also had a couple potential red zone TDs not work out because a receiver messed up. Last year with Denver he had 20 red zone TD passes in 15 games, which was the 4th most in the league to go with 3 rushing TDs. Before that he led a top 5 red zone offense in each of his final three years in Seattle, and that was when their biggest rushing threats were Rashaad Penny and Chris Carson. Remember them? If the Steelers had to lose a game this was it, should be a huge wakeup call. Steelers still lead the division and Baltimore is about to get torn apart in LA, its time to regroup and prepare for next week.
Why is this such a disaster???? Pittsburgh's strength is their tough as nails reactive defense. Any time they play on a field that limits their traction, they will have problems. Winston is a better QB than he is given credit for, and Cleveland has some very good possession receivers. That is the kind of game that can pose real problems for the Steelers.
@@kylewade8704 They will. In fact, they should win, unless they totally collapse. Baltimore is not a contender, they are a pretender. Cincinnati isn't even a pretender, they just suck. @ bro if Baltimore is a pretender then what are the Steelers?😂the Steelers are the definition of pretenders they look good in the regular season and then lose the first game of playoffs no matter what, it’s going to be like that until they get a coach who isn’t stuck in 1920s with his OC pick and qb picks
@@kylewade8704 How many SBs has Baltimore won of late? How many AFC championships? Same coach, same QB, far lesser defense. You are at best a one and doner, if you even make the playoffs at all. Don't start flapping your wings, you haven't learned to fly yet.

If the Steelers don't go AT LEAST 2-1 in their next 3 games? They're missing the playoffs. Think about it. They're 8-3. Their final 3 games are against the Chiefs, the Eagles, and Baltimore IN BALTIMORE. That could VERY easily be 3 losses. So if they go let's say 1-2 in their next 3 games, they could very easily finish 9-8, and miss the playoffs. This loss was MASSIVE. If they had beaten the Browns, they realistically only needed to probably win 1 of the next 3. Now if they don't win 2 of the next 3, they're going to have to beat a STUD down the stretch to make the playoffs.
The Steelers' loss had NOTHING to do with the weather. In the first quarter, the weather wasn't bad yet, and the Steelers still couldn't score. And in the 4th quarter, when the Steelers had the lead, all they had to do was stop the Browns from scoring GOING INTO the direction of blizzard and the winds. And they couldn't do it. The Steelers D couldn't stop a 2-8 team from scoring with the game on the line, even spotting that 2-8 team a blizzard blowing against them. That's just bad football.
It was a crazy game. I give the Browns all the credit. I am glad the Steelers lost so they can make some adjustments to the offense. Pickins is not a NO 1 WR at this time. It has nothing to do with the weather, QB, play calling etc. He is really talented but he is so immature and not ready to be Him Hopefully Arthur Smith draws up more plays to give Austin and Mike Williams more targets.
Everyone praises Tomlin, but the truth is they have a low ceiling in the playoffs every year. They only play one way, every game is the same, and their play style is outdated. They've found ways to win this season, but they're also fully capable of losing to terrible teams like this. Real contenders would blow out these bad teams.
Bad game for the Steelers. They aren't an explosive offense. They are winning with a combination of smart coaching, good QB play, and good defense; not all that different from Kansas City or Buffalo except that the QB and offensive weapons aren't as good. They can beat anyone but I wouldn't bet on them. In a game where the weather is bad though, even a bad team like Cleveland can steal a win though.
“Steelers are 36-13-1 in one score games. That’s not sustainable” dude just contradicted himself. Not sustainable but have a 73% win rate in the last 5 years but it’s not sustainable LOL come on now have better stats to back the claims up instead of throwing something at the wall and hoping it sticks. Pretty sure the Steelers have shown time and time again it can be done
BART, Jamison Winston fumbled the ball in the fourth quarter! So yes, Bart Scott he did turn the ball over & Winston turned the🏈over in the 4th quarter which gave the Steelers the lead🙄!!!
Excuses the Steelers knew who they were playing. They saw Baltimore loose plain and simple they knew this was going to be a tough game coach Tomlin didn't overlook the Browns the media did.
Steelers removed two wide receivers from last years team. The WR1 and WR3 is not on this years Steelers team. Steelers have the lowest paid wide receiver room in the NFL. You get better receivers you will get better production!

This was the Browns Super Bowl 😂 their only accomplishment whatsoever this year. They’ll still be picking top 5 and drafting another bust. Only thing they have going on is a good massage parlor to keep Deshaun happy
Its a beautiful day- jameis Winston
My only question is why didn't they go Winston earlier in the season?
If the Steelers had to lose a game this was it, should be a huge wakeup call. Steelers still lead the division and Baltimore is about to get torn apart in LA, its time to regroup and prepare for next week.
Why is Ryan Clark dressed like suge knight? 😂
He went to Steve Harvey's tailor.
With Justin fields, the proof is in the pudding, that run that fields running ability late in the game was fantastic!!!
Bro playing in the snow is hard AF this was not a serious game
Why is this such a disaster???? Pittsburgh's strength is their tough as nails reactive defense. Any time they play on a field that limits their traction, they will have problems. Winston is a better QB than he is given credit for, and Cleveland has some very good possession receivers. That is the kind of game that can pose real problems for the Steelers.
Hopefully the Steelers can still make the playoffs
@@kylewade8704 They will. In fact, they should win, unless they totally collapse. Baltimore is not a contender, they are a pretender. Cincinnati isn't even a pretender, they just suck. Cleveland is Cleveland, and until they change ownership the rest of the division has nothing to worry about from them.
@ only a few teams have even won Super Bowl “as of late” so idek what ur trying to say😂Steelers are literally known for being good in the regular season and not even winning a single game ever in the first round. And I’m confused how would the ravens miss the playoffs?😂they’re a top 5 team
😂😂 when we beat the 49ers last year at their field with a backup Qb they said because it was raining
short week trap game.
Losing to the browns proves that they are not ready for the playoffs.
They aren’t even gonna make the playoffs lmao
Neither are the Ravens
George Pickens is definitely not salty. It's just one lost to make their record 8-3! And yet the Browns are not making the playoffs lol.
Fitzpatrick look slow getting over on that 3rd and 7. And Steelers should have Blitz Winston on that play.
Please Bart Scott
They talked all kinds of trash when the ravens lost to the browns. Give the steelers the same energy
Now they blaming the Ravens for the Steelers Lost 😂 to the Browns
The Steelers' loss had NOTHING to do with the weather. In the first quarter, the weather wasn't bad yet, and the Steelers still couldn't score. And in the 4th quarter, when the Steelers had the lead, all they had to do was stop the Browns from scoring GOING INTO the direction of blizzard and the winds. And they couldn't do it. The Steelers D couldn't stop a 2-8 team from scoring with the game on the line, even spotting that 2-8 team a blizzard blowing against them. That's just bad football.
They played with 2 qbs against one and still lost... But the browns not that good..?? Ok.. he salty than a peanut...
😂😂😂 I don’t know why but calling him a salty peanut is funny.
I forgot about that “illegal touching” call 🤦🏾 that happened and the no call clear hold right in front of the ref on Herbig. Whatever
I stopped listening to Bart when he said Jameis Winston didn’t turn the ball over 3:04. Bro had an interception and fumble.
@@mattr27 yeah there were times man that it reminded me of a Matt Canada offense they have got to score touchdowns!! it’s ridiculous
The ravens lost to this browns team too
Man I hope the Steelers get rid of Tomlin and becomes a 4-6 win team every year. That would be funny
@@MarvyG23his point is still true though overall
Hope you had that energy when they beat up the Ravens
Alot of you are falling for the narrative Greeny and this show have created from the beginning of the season.
BART, Jamison Winston fumbled the ball in the fourth quarter!
So yes, Bart Scott he did turn the ball over & Winston turned the🏈over in the 4th quarter which gave the Steelers the lead🙄!!!
If you dont blame the steelers (which is insane by the way) then you better not blame the ravens either.
So everyone is encouraged when the Steelers lose to the browns but when the ravens lose to the browns they are pretenders, they aren't serious, etc😂
Everything I expected out of this game.
Ryan sounds like he is looking for comfort with all those excuses for Pittsburgh
If they don't use Russell Wilson and Justin fields as a dual? Then the coach is missing out?
It wasn't intentional grounding
a short week, a road game, snowy conditions against a desperate division rival? Throw this game away and don't look back. No reason to get off the bandwagon after beating Baltimore on sunday.
Steelers offense hardly scores unless their defense hands it to them in scoring range. The defense is good but not perfect.
I wouldn’t underestimate the Steelers in the playoffs.
One and done...
Anyone who wants Mike Tomlin FIRED IS STUPID try being 4-7 like the Bengals it's just stupid look at all the HC who's never had a winning season
