I'm a senior citizen who has been in self-isolation due to Covid-19 since March. I happened to come across Dean's youtube channel and have watched every one of his videos. I have also read his book and purchased his calendar knowing that the proceeds will be used to help animals and to plant trees around the world. His adventures with Nala and the way he presents them is so inspirational and heartwarming. It has been a pleasure to escape into other worlds with them. His mastery of filming is exceptional - especially in Cappadocia. Doing a little research into the places he visits gives you a nice learning experience, too. I have traveled around the world twice during my life but in Dean's travels I am taken to places that I've never been and it is so wonderful. It was also a pleasure to meet Dean's family in his videos and people he' has met along the way.
Hi Eliza, I love Nala's travels too! Just a suggestion for you. Download "google earth" on a fairly large computer screen if you can, and you can then travel the world!
@@elizamartin9506 you're welcome. It's a free download (not good to see it on a tiny iphone screen). It's incredible! Once downloaded, you see the earth at a distance. From there, just "click, click" (2 fast mouse clicks) and you'll get closer. Keep going and then "click, click" on a street (not in a yard etc.) and you're there! You can see all around with your mouse and click once on the street to move forward. If you do it and have questions, please ask. I'm also able to land in some museums and castles! I'm not doing anything over here! :) Jeanne
I read the book and was touched by Deans journey and the impact he and Nala are having on animals around the world. The children’s version is beautifully illustrated and is a favorite of children I gave it to for birthdays and holidays.
He didn't "find" the kitten. The kitten found him and demanded to go with him. It's and incredible video that shows Nala frantically trying to climb up some rocks to get to Dean before he might depart and leave her to her fate. She has that look of despair seen in the eyes of someone whose given in to their dire fate, but has somehow been found instead.
Heard it, read it, watch and listen to everything about it. I am a fellow Scot so can relate and understand his words, jokes, etc. I just love it and cant go a day far less an hour without checking into IG. Nala is just the most adorable cat and their relationship is second to none.
Love the story of Dean's meeting with Nala. His focus certainly changed when his journey included Nala. Dean really enjoyed slowing down and watching how much Nala enjoyed the journey. Love his videos.
I follow Dean on TH-cam and am absolutely in love with Nala! I read Nala's World a few months ago and couldn't put it down. Dean's a great writer and storyteller in addition to being a great human being.
I’m a 1Bike1World 🚴🌎 TH-cam channel subscriber. Bought a copy of Nala’s World for myself, first print run edition, from Amazon UK 🇬🇧. I have one cat 🐈, Mr. Gray, aka Gray, who I adopted as a kitten after he and his littermate were rescued from a tree 🌳 in the middle of nowhere. He’s now 14 and doing well. Bought another copy of the book from Amazon USA 🇺🇸, which I gifted to my daughter for Christmas🎄. She has six cats 🐱, all rescues. I also bought a t-shirt with Nala peaking out of the pocket, which I’m looking forward to wearing, maybe for a special occasion.
I love cats. Love travel. Love seeing how people live the world over. I have not been to Europe (American living in Korea, at present), but watching Dean's videos is a great travel experience. He's an upright guy. (I totally like how he punched the guy twice who was trying to snatch stuff off his bike.) I've had cats, smart cats, too. But Nala is exceptional. Travels better than a dog. She seems to enjoy it more than Dean! (She doesn't have to pedal all that metal up hills, etc.) I've read a section of Nala's World and intend to finish it.
People everywhere smile when they see Nala and Dean on the bike, or when he's walking her on a long leash in a town. Nala makes it easy for people to talk to Dean, and he's met some wonderful people.
Hello from a very recent new fan of dean! I take my evening hours to watch all of Deans trips with NALA! I find myself talking to Nala and very concerned for her while I'm watching. Nala is a Sweetheart!!! I feel so envious of Dean! I will be watching!!

I follow Dean and Nala on TH-cam and just love the videos. Those two have such a connection with each other, it’s really extraordinary. Nala must be one of the most traveled kitties in the world and seems to love it as much as Dean does. I guess the plan is to circle the world by bike so there’s a lot of great videos to come.

I am currently awaiting the arrival of my copy of Dean's book. I watch his youtube channel often. I love Nala. She's such a spunky, carefree kitty. And Dean takes such prodigious care of her. I can't wait to read the book. If only the postie would deliver it. .... 🤔

I have been trying to order 3 copies along with a calendar, but I am having difficulties processing any order. I am very familiar with Dean & Nala and would very much enjoy supporting their cause.
As some horrible, unfeeling, and callous people do, we can presume this tiny kitten was unwanted and dumped, like a piece of rubbish. Maybe her litter mates didn’t survive, if there were any.
