When I was in school you'd just start throwing hands when people stole your stuff... usually made it more trouble than it was worth to mess with u. Then again I grew up in the south, people tend to have more respect.
My boyfriend's son was an extreme competitor. After many injuries he was given strong pain meds. He became addicted and turned to street drugs. He was on his way to his Dad's house because my boyfriend was going to do everything to save his son. On the way he got tired and pulled over to sleep. His exhaust pipe was broke and he needed to stay warm. He was high on drugs as he fell asleep and was asphyxiated. He passed away 11 years ago. My heart hurts for every single struggling addict! They all have a story and none of them planned on falling down.
