"Diadem" is a back to the basics approach with Christian Hip Hop. "In this day and age we're fighting for freedoms to not make albums saturated with the words of Christ," said God's Servant, "I wanted to do the opposite and make an album saturated with the worthiness of Christ."

    • @alaaji2

BEAUTIFUL!!! To GOD be the GLORY: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
    That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
    Philippians 2:8-12

I co-sign what Devin Murphy said, can we please not make this an "us vs. them" thing and support both ministries. I love both Reach Records and Lampmode Records and they both have their own unique function within the body of Christ.

    • @AntoineLamond1
      @AntoineLamond1 11 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Even the rapper Evangel (who used to be part of Lampmode but is now part of ChristCentric) made a song about Lecrae becoming too commercial. He is sending his whole company in that direction. You can see the shift after his greatest Album 'Rebel'. That album was theologically and lyrically sound. It also had great production. He lost me after that.

This song was produced by Mashell Leroy from Miami. He also produced At His Feet ft. Json. The rest of the album was produced by Demodocus.

    LYRICS:
Ya, all rise, uh-oh He’s back from the main land,
yo it’s the great I AM,
    It’s the slain Lamb.
yo take a clear view with Biblical binoculars,
yo it’s the root of David come and see this conquer,
yo He’s the lion of the tribe of Juda,
    Higher ruler,
    He’s the awesome King,
    The just and righteous doer,
from the throne is coming lightning,
pails of thunder rumbling from before the LORD God Almighty
Yo you can see us set the scene,
    as we admire, Messiah
Just like us in the days of King Uzziah
Ya, shaking the buildings from the voices of the choir
The house was filled with smoke,
it was dope how they cried out
above Him stood the seraphim and hands how they cuddle up,
with two wings fly, the others used to cover up.
Screaming Holy is the LORD the whole earth is filled up with the Glory that is
    yours
    Crown him
King of King’s and Lord of Lords
Angels, creatures and people we are all here,
Giving our worship to the one that we all fear,
You’re looking here around the throne,
    there’s masses shouting,
numbering myriads and myriads of thousands,
    from every creature in heaven,
    on and under the earth,
all day and night they never cease but celebrate His worth.
And I know this might surprise you but the centre of our anthem,
Is how He’s gathered up a people He Has Ransomed.
How marvellous the God that they had ran from,
Would spill His blood to pay for every sin that they had done.
    Behold the riches He provides them with;
He made the sinless One to be sin so they could be His righteousness
The old earth is groaning and longing for His sequel
As it awaits the full redemption of the sheepfold
And he has rescued them from evil,
He will be their God and they will be His people.
    Crown Him
King of King’s and Lord of Lords
    Look up!
Look you see the sight is glorious,
To see the man of sorrows now,
And from the fight returned victories
And every knee to Him will bow.
With the detestable, and the wicked,
    Be all doubters and crooks
Are thrown into the lake of fire
if the names ain’t in his book
but while the silent can be added
if they only place their faith in,
the only other name given under heaven to save men.
Fact of the crucified, King of Glory
Who in all his judgments are unsearchable and ways cannot be scrutinised.
    Soon He’s coming back.
Spend your life to spread this statement
Keep yourself in His Love as you eagerly await Him.
    Crown him
King of King’s and Lord of Lords
(This was my best attempt to write out the lyrics, please
feel free to comment and let me know if I’ve made any errors).
