As usual. Top notch video production from the gang at Lamp Mode. The album drops tomorrow for those who asked. It is strong theologically and thematically. It is a worship album as much as it is a Christian Hip Hop album.
The only song and video i've seen and heard on Rapzilla that i can honestly say was humble and Christ glorifying. Excellent, To God be the glory, Christ will be glorified.
I honestly have not watched every single video rapzilla posts, but as a growing believer in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, this video to me, from the ones i have seen(and i've seen plenty) this was the most glorifying, humbling and edifying. It's not really about this guy, he's just a vessel, but it's about how Christ is glorified in the body of the redeemed through their talents and gifts, and the lyrics and character of this guy portrays that very well. Christ will be glorified.
Interesting question. My brother, i'm assuming you are, i'm glad that my interest's regarding how i and who i choose to edify me in Christ matters to you, i truly am. If you read my first comment, i mentioned his humility and lyrics(Theology), and in my observation/discernment, it went together very well without compromise. I may need to explain a bit because i admire your persistence. From the beginning of my salvation, i've always desired to know Christ biblically and on a personal level, when i got confused in certain scriptures and trying to reconcile them together to get the clear meaning so as to grow in my knowledge of Christ, I seeked help from leaders whom i saw to be biblically inclined such as Miles Munroe, John Beveer, Jack Van Impe, Les Feldic, Andrew Wommack, Perry Stone, some others but i forget them as time goes on, but, I grew in my knowledge of Christ but they didn't and couldn't teach the whole counsel of God, so with patience and continually seeking the face of God, God finally, through a sister in Christ led me to Paul Washer, now my mind and heart was filled with so many biblical truth but left unexplained. Paul Washer resuscitated my true passion for my walk with God but theologically there was a lack until one day he mentioned John Macarthur who was an influence to him, my brother, i wanted so much for teachers to touch on the subjects in scriptures there were touched, but God in his kind grace led me through his Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth to the teachings and biblical exposition of John Macarthur, that was the end of my search. All the men i listed met portions of a standerd and criteria i set for my self in my walk with Christ Jesus but not completely. So when it comes to Gospel rap, I feel the same way, i keep going to Rapzilla b/c they have it a goal to play nothing but "Godly music", i don't listen to secular rap, i'd rather gospel rap, like Da Truth's first cd, or Disciple, Cross Movements early work, and Flame's first Album. Who am I? no one, just a foolish sinner saved by grace who has very specific preference when it comes to worshiping Christ daily in my walk. Forgive me if i've caused you confusion or any offense, truly it wasn't my intentions. For me, it was a breath of fresh air to the brother rap the way he did, he kept Christ centered through out, his spit game was nice and there was nothing about him at all that got my attention except his complete lost of self to the video.
Gave HIS life a ransom for many...All Praises be to God

this dudes lyrics are so dope, and his voice and flow just make this whole song sick
