RM is different from other leaders because he is made for the role. Not many people can just be a leader. It takes a lot of responsibility and unity between the group members, the company, and many other factors that come into play. It seems that K-pop companies usually give the role of the leader to the oldest member, but that doesn't mean they are leader material. With Bighit, is given to the most reliable person. You won't ever have a leader like RM in K-pop. His leadership capabilities are so far beyond anything else in the industry.
It's interesting that I agree the most with Tyler, and I could see throughout the years that this is how RM led his team, his efforts to recognize each and every one of his members, push them forward with care, and even pull them forward through inspiration & leading by example, using his social intelligence to understand them deeply, to respect their differences, allow them to shine different colors of light on the same stage, he just grew up so well. He sure learned alot in life, because he cared enough to learn and was brave enough to make mistakes and venture. I learn from him everyday as an adult. I am not familiar with Suho, but regardless of the question, it was an interesting discussion. Idol group in their 40's isn't such a bad idea either (we're a decade away from BTS being that, I think it will be so cool) ^_^
