To those Chelsea fans coming to this video to spam with this game didn’t matter anyways comments, let me tell you something. To the 30,000+ CLT FC fans who bought tickets, it mattered. To the players playing for minimum MLS salaries cause it’s an expansion team in their first ever season, it mattered. This game mattered to us because it made us feel legitimate and people paid respect to the expansion MLS side, rather than saying… “oh yeah we just beat another MLS team…” Also, I was in the stands. I got to witness the energy and see it firsthand. To see these metaphorically hungry players give it their all, that was special, and it mattered to every single one of them. We were a mid table already overachieving MLS expansion team playing a top three EPL team, it mattered to every fan in those stands and every player on the pitch. Thank you and I yield.
