@@MiracleMAX thanks so much for your reply. The air sensor or the fuel filter is where I'm upto. Car not turning on, battery brand new, alternator fine. That's where I am upto from my internet research 🙂 appreciate your help 😃
@@bobbyknuckles1457 I am a little confused. Is this related to the cabin filter video above? Is your vehicle a Pulsar? What year & engine? What issues are you having? Do you have any fault codes? You state that the car is not turning on. Does that mean that it won't crank or won't start?
@@MiracleMAX appreciate your response. The car won't start. It's not related to the video, I was watching it because I confused cabin filter with air filter, someone online said it may be that and I'm an amateur. Although I have learned a lot today alone. It's a pulsar 2004 1.6, lately it's been stalling (it's an auto) so I did some research about air filters (confused with your filter video) as the air intake can make stall? Arrived at the thought that it may be the fuel filter now....
@@bobbyknuckles1457 Thanks for the details. That would probably make it a N16 model with a QG16DE engine in it. It's starting to make a little more sense. If it doesn't start, it could be several things. You stated that you had a stalling issue, but if it doesn't start, that would be only a symptom of something else at this point. To rest your mind, simply remove the air filter for testing for now. I very much doubt that a blocked air filter would not let it start. OK, so here we go..... Do you have any fault codes? Does it have spark? Does it have fuel up to the rail? Is the fuel pump working? If so, what are the pressures and the volume? Is the valve timing correct? Are the cylinder compressions OK? Let me know how you go with these tests.
That is the correct number for the vehicle I was working on. Best to ask your parts supplier for the correct part. Have a look for the heater fan - the arrow faces that direction. In this case, if I remember correctly, it should face the cabin, Miraclemax
Not sure I understand. Do you mean the horn or the horn button? If it is the horn, it is just a matter of locating it behind the grille (you may have to remove the grille if it is difficult to access) and removing the bolts that hold the horn in place.
I did that now I am having trouble to secure the latch back in. Top part is slots in nicely but the bottom part of the latch is loose despite both parts (latch and air filter box) being intact with no broken parts :( anyone can advise please ?
Hey man, I've been looking everywhere for a workshop servicing manual for a nissan pulsar c12 2013 mr16ddt. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks for any help and your video!
Hey Travis G , That does seem a bit of a tough call on that vehicle. I have had a look around & it is hard to find. I gather you have tried Haynes. Also try using the term 'Nissan Pulsar C12 2013 service manual Pdf' in the search window. It appears that it was also called Nissan Tiida, so try searching that as well. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Pulsar#C12_(2013)
Hi mate, Thanks for this video. It was very useful when I this filter. Could you please help me to locate the Bluetooth module in this car? My car Bluetooth is not working trying to find the location of this module with no success.
What model and year is your Nissan Pulsar? It appears that later ones have the Bluetooth module built into the radio. forums.nicoclub.com/actual-location-of-the-bluetooth-module-t628289.html
Hey Laurel, you are right. It is so hard to get the filter into the space and then hope that it will expand to the size correctly to filter the air. Who thought of this design? 🤔
could this be the reason my car is stalling (auto) or is it the sensor? thanks heaps for the upload
Hey Bobby Knuckles,
A blocked cabin filter will not cause stalling. What sensor are you referring to?

Is this just a British thing or why is that filter definitely not where it is in the video??😫
Sorry, I can't speak for the Brits, but this is where we keep them in Australia 😁🤔
